Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Buyer beware

It is run down and outdated. The staff were great and fixed what they could, but they couldn’t fix the old stained carpet or the tile that has not been professionally cleaned so the dirt is embedded in it. I wish I could post the photos. The beach was great!

Miramar Beach vacation

We had a great experience at Surfside Resort. Beach was very accessible from resort and it was nice to have Beach chairs that went with our room set up on the sand for us. The on site restaurant was nice and convenient for our sit down family meal together to celebrate my 36th wedding anniversary. Our children and grandchildren also booked rooms at the resort and we were treated very well during our four days there. Check-in was a breeze, the desk receptionist was very helpful and informative. Check-out was equally as easy. I have been on many vacations in my lifetime and this one went down as being one of the most memorable and enjoyable times to date. We would come back to or recommend this resort no problem.

It's good not great

The room is good if your not looking for something to spend lots of time in. The beds had sand in them and the carpet was not vacuumed. The shower was not clean and had hair in the drain. One of the shower doors was broken and so was one of the closet doors so you couldn't actually use the closet at all. But other than that the room is good for just somewhere to sleep a few nights.

Life saver!

We very much enjoyed the place, location and access to the beautiful beach! The room was just enough and perfectly set up for us. Quiet when it came to bedtime, service outstanding even the cleaning service stopped to say hello. We will be back! Thank you!

Less than average - cockroaches in the room

We had a late check in, got our info just as described to us. Got to our room and did not have a code to get in. We had to call security to let us in and then call a representative to help us with the code to the room. We were never given one. It was an easy fix, but incredibly frustrating when we had been driving since 7:30 that morning and it was now 8:30 pm. Also, check in is at 4 but the front desk closes at 5 so only an hour for in person help with check in. Room was MUCH smaller than pictured. The floors and showers were kind of gross looking but did not feel dirty. The kicker is when I went to put things in the refrigerator and found a cockroach on the refrigerator. This and the rubber seal was filthy. When we complained in the morning the seal was cleaned immediately but the roaches were responded with “well we just treated it!” And nothing was done. Later we found more cockroaches. For as much money that I spend for 3 nights I would expect to not have cockroaches where I’m sleeping.

The property, our room, and the amenities were exactly what I had expected. Trying to get a taxi or Uber to town was nearly impossible, but had no problem when I set up an airport shuttle in advance, they were even early. All in all, I would come back!

Overrated!

The smaller 1 bedroom ,2 queen bed, 1 bathroom is overrated. Was not pleased at all. I could have gotten a hotel room with more space at a better price. Will not stay here again

The property looks great from outside. The beach was beautiful.

The room was not what we expected at all. The closet door fell off and hit my son. It was really hot at night. We had trouble with parking. They have dishes and leave dishwasher liquid. I guess you wash dishes in the shower or bathroom sink. We will never stay at this location again. Very disappointed
