This fifth floor Luau two studio is perfect for business travelers, couples or small families and comes with the flexibility to be rented with the one bedroom unit next door. Luau's close proximity to the Sandestin Hilton and beach make it great for both business and pleasure. Many travelers with conferences at the Hilton find Luau to be a great alternative to staying directly in the hotel.
The studio at Luau is larger than many of the local hotel's rooms and even larger than many of their suites. Our studio at Luau comes with a king sized bed and pull out sofa in case you have a child in your party and sleeps three very comfortably. It has a flat screen TV in the room as well as a small table to eat at and a basic kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and dorm style fridge, just enough to cook basic meals. If you are more ambitious, Luau has some of the nicest gas grills on the beach and with a little practice you could grill just about anything and have some pretty tasty meals without having a kitchen or the cleanup.
This fifth floor studio looks out over the Sandestin resort, the beautiful beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. The nicely appointed studio is part of a unique lock off set up and can be rented separately or in conjunction with the one bedroom condo next door. The studio option is perfect for a couple on a getaway weekend, a small family or if you have business or a conference at the Hilton.
Being so close to the Hilton and The Beach House means that you do have several restaurants, from casual outdoor beachfront dining to the prime steaks and seafood at Seagar's all within a couple of minutes' walk from the condo. Also, the Hilton has the Serenity by the Sea Spa that consistently ranks as one of Destin's best spas. Planning your trip? Luau has one of the nicest pool areas in Sandestin, complete with waterfall, separate kiddie pool area and hot tub. The pool deck also has its own seasonal snack bar and often during weekends in season has live music. Luau also has a fitness center equipped with modern treadmills, stationary bikes and weight machine.

Good communication with the owner. Not very personable though, just very black & white, to the point. We didnt get to enjoy alot of the amenities because they were closed. They were also replacing carpet in the Luau halls and our floor was one of them. The room was wonderful. Destin was amazing. I would definitely go back. I couldn't pass up the great deal!!

Gorgeous location

I was very impressed with the property that this resort sits on. The accommodations were amazing. They had showers to shower off after the beach and a large beach area with plenty of room. The hotel was easy to get to in the parking was incredible with lots of space.

A good week

Small but nice studio perfect for just me and the wife. Didn't particularly love the shared unit access only because our second set of neighbors was rude and left they're garbage in the small access hallway that we both use to enter our rooms and the listing didn't say it was a shared access but other then that the resort and building was nice. Big pool, decent access to the beach overall i give it a 8.5/10

Great condo at the beach!

I just spent a week here and it was wonderful. Quick walk to the beach. Pool close by. Nice view of the ocean. Restaurants near by with short drive to multiple grocery stores. Would stay again!

Wonderful Stay

The location was great, not too far from the beach, easy access. The room was clean, organized, and didn’t have second thoughts sleeping in the bed or walking on the floor barefoot. Felt like home away from home. Comfortable setting, nice pool too!

The Studio was perfect for us

The property is very nice and clean. The grounds are immaculate. The beach was extremely crowded. They herd everyone away from the Hilton to a small area of beach. Everyone was almost sitting on each other. We stayed at the pool the last day. It's really nice.

The photos were a bit deceiving so i asked immediately about being directly on the beach. I never got an actual response to that specific question. I never understood who or what was our transportation because the whole area looked like each place had a different owner so i dont want to ask some guy in a golf cart to give me a ride. Our $100 doordash got canceled because the local driver didn't know where they were going and left it at the wrong door. So, even the locals find this place confusing Also, no balcony, all the photos have a balcony, didnt think i needed to request it.. sucked for my 15 year wedding anniversary, . Also, provide a keurig machine but no kuerig? Why is it called a resort at all? Like i know I'm supposed to bring my own keirig to the resort and now the first thing i have to do is go to the grocery store.

Small and simple. The bed was nice. I wasn't used to all of the pillows. The sofa was a bit low but in all nice. May I suggest that the tub should have a shower rug. I was afraid of slipping.

Florida Vacation

My husband and I went down for a quick getaway. We were at the luau in Sandestin for five days. The luau is about a four minute walk to the beach. The condo had chairs we could use for the beach and an umbrella. However the chairs were a little old and uncomfortable. We went out and bought our own. This condo is easy to fix breakfast and lunch in but I think fixing dinner in it would be hard. Sandestin is a beautiful resort that has many extra amenities on site. We enjoyed our stay at the luau and would definitely go back. The view looking at the ocean from this condo is very pretty!
