Red Oak Cabin Boasts:
» A full kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove and oven, cooking utensils.
» Inside dining/sitting area with table, chairs and love seat.

» One bedroom with double bed. Linens provided.
» 2 Carpeted lofts. Can be used for either sleeping or storage.
» Bathroom with Shower, Toilet and sink. Towels and washcloths and soap provided.

We do not allow any off road vehicles on the grounds.

The cabins (we have 3 plus two full hook up RV sites) are set in a private wooded area. Approximately 2 miles from Pittsburg recreational are which has a beach and boat launch. Within 10 miles there are several other boat launches and two marinas. Alps Market, a full grocery store is approximately 2 miles away.

Awesome cabin with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, A/C, TV, bathroom with toilet and shower, bedding and towels supplied. I love it there! This one actually has a sofa with 3 built in recliners. Besides being pet friendly which is hard to find. We didn't need that option, but very nice for people wh do need that. It has a picnic table, a fire pit and a grill also.This is the second time I've stayed at one of these cabins and both experiences were excellent! We will definitely be back! It is very close to Pomme De Terre State Park and Lake.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property, but chose a different cabin this time. Has everything we need for a weekend at the lake. Very quiet and relaxing while still being close to everything we had planned.

This is a nice quiet cabin that sits back off the main road. You can see the other cabins, but they are not close to each other creating plenty of privacy and there is a lot of outdoor space to play yard games or enjoy an evening around the firepit. It is very peaceful. We personally did not have cell service while inside the cabin, but did have on the porch and outside. So it was nice to unplug and relax. However, that could be an issue if you needed to work remotely. The cabin was very nice & clean, spacious inside and set up with table and 4 chairs, a lounge chair and futon couch, with a bed and wardrobe closet in the separate bedroom. We brought airbeds and the kids slept on those in the loft space and loved it! Due to it being a wooden cabin, they keep a humidifier running while the cabin is vacant. We were late getting there for check in, so it was pretty warm when we arrived and took a while for the air conditioner to cool down the cabin. It was uncomfortably warm when we went to bed due to our late arrival, but got chilly overnight. So the a/c works great, it just takes a bit to cool off the space. There were plenty of clean towels, cookware, nice larger refrigerator, microwave, etc. My kids complained about the small size of the TV, but it was sufficient and we weren't there to watch television! The lake is right down the road with boat launch access and nice picnic area.The host was quick to respond to any questions and we would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was clean, beautiful, well stocked. You can tell the owners care about their property. Location was gorgeous and quiet. Cant wait to stay there again

This is a great place to stay. Very quiet. The cabins are very spread out which affords more privacy. We loved the decor. We are looking forward to staying here again. It is so quiet at night nothing but nature sounds.

Perfect Getaway!

This was our second year to stay at this cabin and we love staying here! We had everything that we needed for cooking and the cabin was very comfortable. The best part was the serenity being tucked back into the woods. Marsha was quick to answer any questions too. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Fishing with the boys

Great little cabin. Close to everything would highly recommend we fished for three days. It was a great trip. cabin had everything we needed.
