About this property

The Heron's Nest - your home at the beach

UPDATE- our condo has a fresh layer of paint, new flooring and living room furniture. New photos coming soon. Cute ground-floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo at Westport-by-the-sea, steps from one of the best beaches on the Washington coast, and adjacent to Westport Light state park. Well-maintained and pet-friendly. Our unit is at the back of the property and not ocean view. Onsite amenities include fitness center, outdoor hot tub and pool, putting green, horseshoe pits, and a soaking tub in the en-suite master bath.

High-speed wireless internet, ultra high-def smart TV, keyless locks and bedside USB charging mean you don't need to leave technology at home.

The sleeping arrangements include a King bed in the primary bedroom, Queen in the guest room and two roll out twin beds.

Our kitchen is fully-equipped with dinnerware, pots and pans, major appliances, and everything you need to cook meals at home. If you have any questions about what's included, please ask!

Clean fluffy towels and crisp white sheets are provided for all bathrooms and beds, as well as natural shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soaps by Puracy. Pods for the washer and dishwasher are provided as well.

PUPS WELCOME! The beach is a wonderful place to play with your canine friends. We supply dog bowls, a medium sized dog bed, and special towels to wipe down after your beach playtime. There's a dog walking area with waste bags provided. Please remember to keep your dogs leashed at all times while on the property.

WHAT TO DO IN WESTPORT
Aside from the beach and the adjacent State Park, which are fantastic for hiking (paved trails in the park are wheelchair-accessible), Westport is a great home base for exploring Washington's coast. Check out nearby Grayland and Tokeland to the South or Ocean Shores to the North. In town, take advantage of one of the best surfing and kite surfing beaches in the state, recreational or commercial fishing, or wildlife watching tours from the marina downtown.

If you prefer to stick closer to home, the property offers horseshoe pits, and we have horseshoes for you to enjoy. The clubhouse has a fitness center, pool. hot tub, putting green, sport court, and barbecue grills.

Gray's Harbor lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Washington State, is a short walk up Ocean Ave., and you can climb to the top for a small fee. Also check out our favorites, Blackbeard's brewing just one block further, and Aloha Alabama in Westport's charming downtown.

Wonderful condo

So much living space!!! Comfortable furnishings and everything you need. Nice large kitchen, jet tub, even things for the dogs if you forget something. (towels, bowls and toys). Close walk to the beautiful beach. One of the best we have stayed at.

Really enjoyed our stay here. So many thoughtful and nice touches included in the condo, such as common sense condiments in the refrigerator; lots of coffee filters, coffee, tea, spices, cooking oil, etc. Very welcoming and comfortable - definitely will stay here again!

Perfect vacation getaway

We loved our time at Westport in this condo. The space was well appointed with everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable and access to the beach was perfect. Our visit gave us a chance to connect with family members that we hadn't seen in two years due to the lockdown.

King Tides Westport Trip

Westport Family Vacation 2024

We stayed for 5 days @ Heron's Nest, ParisAnne was awesome in accommodating our needs, the rental was clean and well kept, and very spacious for a family of 5. Our stay was very relaxing, and we cant wait for our next vacation. We look forward to renting again with ParisAnne. The kids had lots to do, from exploring the trails and beaches, to fishing from the jetty and catching rockfish. I highly recommend staying here, thank you ParisAnne.

We had such a great time! This was mine and my husband's first time to Westport as well as our first trip with our toddler and it was so fun. Not only was there pretty much everything you could need in the condo, but it was only a short walk to the beach. Our hosts were so nice and accommodating! We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Excellent get away place

The condo was very clean and well stocked. ParisAnne was so responsive to all of our inquiries and requests. She is an excellent property owner. She alerted us that some construction was being done on the buildings. We were not at all bothered with noise, so our stay of 2 weeks was quiet, relaxing and refreshing. The beds were comfortable and the decor was so “oceany” so we really had the ambiance of being at the ocean. We will definitely stay with her condo again if our opportunity arises. Last minute getaway

We rented this condo as a last minute escape to the beach. The weather was bad, but we had plenty to do in the condo. The kitchen was well appointed and made cooking/baking easy. The master bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Kids had enough room for some individual space when needed. The hosts were really responsive and even checked in with us mid-week to make sure we had enough entertainment, given the inclement weather. Our doggo was in heaven!

Fully equipt, gorgeous condo

We spent 3 glorious nights in Westport with our two young children. This condo was wonderfully appointed with every amenity you could possibly need and more. Tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and very spacious. Comfortable beds and furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. Cute little patio with a small grassy area. No view of the ocean but we enjoyed relaxing on the patio and listening to the waves crash. Short walk to the beach down a nicely groomed path. The beach is beautiful and not highly populated. So easy to socially distance here!! I recommend getting a carry out pizza and salad from Blackbeards Brewery at the end of the street! We also enjoyed picking up fresh crab from Float 8, in town, and cooking them up at the condo. The owners were very accomodating and responsive. Highly recommend this unit and I know we'll be back!

Cozy place for an ocean getaway!

The Heron's Nest proved to be a perfect homebase for our 5 days in Westport. The unit is ground floor, which made bringing our things in very easy. The unit was clean & inviting when we arrived, with a note from the owner, a basket of snacks, and cozy decor. The kitchen was stocked with essentials like coffee and oil - but also with condiments and a huge array of herbs and spices. The location is right near the beach, easily accessed by a trail. The surfing beach and calm Half Moon Bay beaches are about 5 minutes away. We spent most of our time on the beach, our 9 year old boogie boarding for hours & our 7 year old digging in the sand. When we were in the condo we found the huge soaker tub to be AMAZING! The pool & hot tub were also great. Linens & bedding were cozy. I loved that bath products were great for sensitive skin (Puracy and Aveeno). All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay a few days! A note about the town - it is cute but tiny! There are only a few restaurants so waits were long (1+ hour) on the Friday & Saturday evening we were here. Other times we got our food right away.The one grocery store in town has all the essentials, but we'd brought homegrown tomatoes from our garden, with a plan to make caprese salad. Sadly, the store had no fresh mozzarella. So be sure to plan to pick up any specialty groceries elsewhere!

Must Stay! Warm and Comfy! Steps from Beach

We had an amazing time celebrating our sons 25th birthday. Lots of family memories and walks on the beach. The condo has everything you could need and want. We are so grateful. Going home refreshed, and with tons of memories of our family being together.

My sister moved to Westport with my nephew in 2020 and we love the beach so much we decided to buy the condo so we’d have some place to stay when we regularly came to visit. We love the coast so much we moved out full time in 2022. The beach offers a different experience for every season and I love them all.
