About this property

Hillside Hideaway at PK

his 2/2 lakefront cabin has a living/dining room, full kitchen, RokuTV, Hi-speed internet, and stacked washer/dryer. The large shaded stone patio has a propane grill, a 4 person picnic table and additional seating. As well as a stone swim deck

The living room offers large windows with amazing lake views, a pool table an an 8 person dining table. The dock has deep water and is great for boating, fishing, sunbathing, floating, and swimming.

We are located 20 minutes South of Graham, 90 minutes West of DFW, & 90 minutes East of Abilene.


The kitchen, dining, and living area is an open concept space. The kitchen has a 13 ft island, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, stove, and oven. The living room has a large dining room table that will seat 10, pool/ping pong table, couch and loveseat, and TV with Dish Network & Netflix.

The water is 25 - 30 feet deep off the dock and has bumpers and ties along the side to tie-down a boat. The shoreline off the patio is steep and rocky and is not suitable for small children. There are steps down to the water from the walkway.

We have fed the fish (Catfish & Carp) for many years. They will come to the shore and walkway when you give them pieces of bread or dog food. You will also see a few hummingbirds that migrate to our cabin every year.

Possum Kingdom Lake offers a variety of options for guests to rent boats and personal watercraft or hire a guide for a fishing trip. All of the options can be easily located from the Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce website, and we recommend making any reservations prior to your arrival.

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway!

The home is so comfortable and easy to stay in. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipped, plenty of dishes; just about anything that you would want. The beds are comfortable and very clean. The fishing was not very good but as they say "a bad day fishing is better than a good day working." Thanks Eric we had a great time.

This is our second stay at this location. Perfect for our family. All was clean and everything we needed worked, especially the air conditioning. Boat dock had everything we needed including electricity to charge boat batteries. Our host (Eric) was very helpful. We will be back.

This house and view was amazing! Spent most of our time out on the dock or patio. Slide and rope swing big hit. Bunch of fish to feed. Highly recommend this place for a get away. Thank you for letting us stay. Will be going back.

This is exactly what the family I were looking for. Right on the water. Wake up play in the lake. Take a nap. Go fishing. Very quiet. Except for us. Lol. I definitely recommend staying here

House is nice with plenty of room in the main room. Outdoor patio & dock are great & right on lake

House is well stocked with a great pool/ping pong table in the main room. Kitchen is well stocked & appliances are modern. Outdoor space is very nice with a dock that the kids really enjoyed. Only drawback is the location is off the beaten path & sits on a ranch with an interesting ranch owner on patrol… Relaxing spot if you’re looking to get away from everything! Property manager is great with communication.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The bathrooms were not very desirable and need some revamping. The main drive to access the property from the main road is not very good. Luckily, we were in a pickup. The remote to the TV had no batteries. We had to go to bait store and get batteries. The dock was nice and enjoyable.

Perfect West Side Cabin

This location was great for our family reunion that we have at brother’s house. By boat we were within 1 minute and by drive to Chapel Rd we were less than 20 minutes. This 2 bedroom cabin was great for us and our kids.

Fantastic Property

We had a fantastic time here! Perfect for the teenagers. Their eyes lit up when they saw the pool table. Spent so much time out on the dock and in the water!! We look forward to coming back.

The view of the lake is breathtaking, the patio was so nice & cool all day🛶, and dock 🎣was so much fun!! The pool table/ping pong table was wonderful during those rainy ☔️days!! The kids were fascinated to see all the fish 🐠come up when they were fed!! We will definitely be back!!💕

Peace!

There is just something about being able to see the lake out every window, whether you’re at the table, on the couch watching TV, cooking or in the bedroom. Feeding the fish was an added bonus! (I actually touched quite a few as they were feeding). This time at the lake was a very nice respite from the work world. An older home, not as luxurious as some, but very comfortable. Fairly close to grocery and places to eat. Fox Hollow has excellent fried catfish. Possum Hollow had a beautiful garden with a very tasty BLT.

Loved it all!

We needed a cabin with a dock for our 22ft fishing boat and this place checked all the boxes! Dock was perfect and had poly bumpers all around it, the location was secluded but plenty around, loved Fox Hollow being so close and yes - feeding the fish was quite nice as everyone has said. Well equipped, had everything we needed to cook meals for five days, and the property manager was always just a text away. We had no issues at all throughout the stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Husband loved the rope swing too :)
