Stones Throw Beach House

Freshly renovated inside for 2024, Only 100m to the Beach. 1and 1/2 hours from Auck. There is room for everyone here. Great beach house for a large group or two families holidaying together. Full fenced section, Five good sized bedrooms, huge lounge and dining area. A home away from home. Minutes to Awesome Surfing, Fishing, Diving, Sailing, Golf, kayaking, Marine / Bird reserves etc.......

The property is situated within a few meters to the beautiful white sand beach of Ruakaka ( Safe Patrolled Swimming). Easy to nip back for the forgotten item, to shower, lunch, etc. Great place for swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, fishing, gathering shellfish or beach walking. There is also an estuary with wildlife reserves.

Only 90 minutes north of Auckland and 25 mins south of Whangarei City, Ruakaka has much to offer the visitor:
* 5 minute drive to the stunning Waipu 18 hole all weather golf course
* 10 minute drive to the boat ramp at One Tree Point, awesome sailing, fishing and diving to be had!
* 10 minute drive to Waipu village with it’s numerous cafes/restaurants, small shops and museum
* 15 minute drive to Waipu Caves and walkway
* 5 minute drive to Ruakaka town centre, where there is a Supervalue supermarket, video rental store, GP, cafe, tavern
* 5 minute walk to local dairy
* Also in the area are fishing and diving charters, Kayak hire, horse trecks and some fantastic driving scenery

Located in the front section of paradise shores with slight sea views, this is the perfect place to get together, relax and enjoy this fantastic beach
Special conditions:
Christmas to Waitangi weekend (1st week of February)- weekly bookings only. Out of peak season - a minimum stay applies for public holiday weekends and 2 night minimum stay on weekends.
$500 bond for all stays, refundable upon return of key and a satisfactory inspection of property.
Check-in time 3 pm, check-out time midday.

Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi batch tradition you are expected to: Clean the house before you leave so its ready for the next guest. We do offer a cleaning service at an extra cost, if you don't wish to do this.

Wonderful venue for a relaxing family holiday!

The bach was just the right place for our family reunion, some from overseas. It was wonderfully close to the beach and the house is well designed for a relaxing holiday. It does however, need some maintenance, as all houses do. But communication with the host on this was very positive and I can commend them on their bach. I hope to stay there again.

Great bach for two families

Great place to relax for a long weekend. The bach is huge with plenty of space, and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Quality bedding and towels. Numerous outside areas to sit and relax in. Plenty of on road parking. Very short stroll to the beach, and to the dairy. On a rainy day it's a short drive to the Waipu Caves which are great fun.Great communication with the bach owners too.
