Charmant appartement

L’Endroit et l’accueil de Jan & Phil très sympathiques petites attentions lors notre arrivée très agréables …beurre confiture pain pour le matin ainsi que petits biscuits et fruits, rien ne manquait pour passer un séjour.

The location was quite pleasant and well located, it took me around 20mins to get into Lower Hutt for work but the very first thing I noticed when entering was the smell. It smelled very musky, like the windows hadn't been opened for a bit. It was also quite dusty atop the fridge, the lights, etc so the first thing I did after unpacking was some dusting. Other than that, the flat was warm and bed was comfortable so what more can you ask for? There also was flyers for figuring out what public transport to use to get around which I thought was a nice touch. Hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with

We stayed here as last minute Booking- excellent place to stay-and convenient for a 3 day Convention in Porirua, home from home , I hope to stay again next Convention in Porirua. Communication with Jan was excellent..

Peaceful and convenient

Jan went above and beyond with supplying cereal, milk, bread, condiments biscuits and fruit which I wasn't expecting.

Perfect Welly Getaway

A great little space not too far from Wellington centre. Jan was an amazing host and made sure I had everything I needed and then left me to it. Such a spacious place! Great value! Very peaceful.

BIRDSONG REVIEW

Property owner lovely, but the smell in the property was terrible. We used supplied dehumidifier 24/7, windows opened when possible and plugs put into sinks to try to alleviate the drain smells. Spoke with owner who said they will get plumber back to try to sort the problem. All clothing we had with us including jackets anf items in suitcases will have to be washed. Such a pity, as the location and birdlife were wonderful.

Great location

Well located to all areas around Wellington, including Wellington itself. Nice and quiet unit. Plenty of space and well stocked with items for breakfast.

Small touches by hosts were great. Property was damp and smelled musty although there was a dehumidifier there we did not want to leave it running all day when we were not there. There are two rental units beside each other and when the other one was occupied you could hear people talking , shower ru ning etc not very sound proof so a bit dissappointing.
