Le paradis vous attend - ensoleillé et spacieux avec une vue magnifique

The perfect holiday home for 1-2 families! Perched above Mangawhai Harbour with sensational views out to the Pacific Ocean you are perfectly positioned to laze your days away on the front deck and watch the world go or stroll a few minutes to the beach (avoiding those pesky traffic jams at the car park in summer!). You are also only a short distance to Wood St shops. There is also a fireplace and two heat pumps so if you're after a winter escape you will still be able to enjoy the wonderful views but stay toasty and warm. The house has been completely re-furnished in November 2015 and all furnishings are brand new.

There is a decent lawn area behind the house for kids to play on and extensive decking on both sides of the house so whichever way the breeze is blowing, you can be outside enjoying the sun.

We had a fantastic girls’ weekend away! The house had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Check-in with the property manager was a breeze. The property was much bigger than expected, with a great layout that would easily suit larger groups. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bonus was the cozy log fire - perfect given the terrible weather. Great location too - we’ll definitely be keen to come back!

Family Christmas

We stayed over Christmas and had a lovely time. The views are amazing and the house is spacious. Lovely bedrooms and the Estuary is just a quick walk for swimming.

Magical mangawhai!

Large, spacious house with multiple outdoor areas. Had a few wobbles but the property manager was very quick to address them. Would highly recommend for groups or families. Great location walking distance to both estuary and beach.

Family mini break

Beautiful property, met and exceeded expectations. Plenty of space for all ages to be together or escape for quiet time. Stunning views - look forward to returning for coffees and wines on the deck another time. Only downfall is one toilet but we all managed just fine. Great location for walks to surf beach and estuary.Thank you, highly recommend and we'll be back.

A beautiful house and location

We arrived to a clean house and amazing view of the sea and estuary of Mangawhai heads. Some of the equipment like the dishwasher doesn't work that well, but otherwise the equipment to use in the kitchen is really outstanding. Would love to return one day with my friends.

Heavenly Views

Very nice property - suggestions are: Wifi coverage is poor on the lower bedroom level - needs a booster Bed in master/main bedroom ( rear back LH corner is way to hard for a holiday rental - had trouble sleeping every night. TV - complicated, Property Manager - Dave- very nice to deal with Great views and very well equipped kitchen

Happy

All was good apart from it smelling like cat wee and the lawns being ridiculously long when we first arrived and having to contact to get cut. Other than that. Clear instructions and nice and tidy with a beautiful view. We were disappointed coming from overseas that we were still supposed to pay $25 per person for linnen. That seems a bit ridiculous.

Views to die for.

Thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful property with us. It is great for a multigenerational holiday. The wee ones loved the playroom complete with toys. It is large and well equipped and the fire worked well to keep us all warm. The views of the Heads are spectacular and I could have spent all day gazing out to sea. A pod of Orca out in front was the icing on the cake.

Mangawhai bliss

Conveniently located with a great view across the estuary. The house is spacious and comfortable. The fireplace was a must for our winter stay and did not disappoint. A home away from home.

Holiday with ease...

Our group try to get away twice a year, we have stayed in many places. This has to be one of the top, if not the top locations we have stayed at. Great views, relaxing, living area is separated from the sleeping area, so you can have day naps in peace. Has kids play area, kayaks and a beautiful fireplace to keep you warm at night. A quick walk to the beach short trip to Mangawhai, Langs, Waipu Cove. This was the easiest and relaxing trip we have had.
