Great accommodation, very homely. Small things like the wall light at the bathroom door helped at night. Cosey, and very close to town centre. Would stay again.

Hope to stay here again.

My parents and I had the best time staying at this property. Very clean and so close to town. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Taranaki. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Relaxing stay

The cottage was in a great central location yet still quiet. It was very spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a lovely relaxing time.

Great house, perfect spot

Good few days break. We parked up and walked everywhere. So close to town centre Takeaways and waterfront. Great property. Owner so easy to deal with.

Great stay in a handy location

Charming cottage with updated amenities. It's an older neighborhood, but well kept, and within walking distance of everything! Our adult son with us for much of our stay, and there was plenty of space. Wonderful city park nearby, major grocery stores, downtown, the wonderful coastal walkway were all just a walk away. Good kitchen facilities (even an ice maker, which was wonderful for warm summer weather. The key wasn't in the lock box when we arrived, but it was remedied quickly and graciously! This was a wonderful, relaxing stay for our last week in New Zealand.

Walk to the park

Truly charming and central!

Indeed the description is spot on - the cottage was super charming and very central! We had a fantastic week-long stay -it was a wonderful base to explore Taranaki National Park -which we did most days - just 20, 30 or 50 min drive to trailheads - and also loved to return to the comfortable house, great kitchen, everything we needed, and comfy bed after long hiking days! We also enjoyed New Plymouth's coastal walkway and other local parks and the convenient location could not be beat. Caitlin was super communicative and fast and we would definitely come back if ever back in New Plymouth!

Lemon St villa

Lovely feel to the villa. Every need catered for. Sparkling clean and very central. A bonus was the wee Philipino 'shop' next door and a yummy coconut buko pie just out of the oven.

Cute, comfy cottage

This is a nice cottage that comfortably accommodates 4 people. Lovely modern kitchen and bathroom fascilities. Handy walk to town for all amenities.

Gorgeous artsy well loved cottage in a handy area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We felt like we were stepping back in time amongst history and the place was decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. Caitlin was excellent at communicating with us and we appreciated that. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again. Thanks for the nice experience Caitlin!

Spacious and comfortable stay in centre of town

Cottage was as described, good amount of space for the four of us and contained a large kitchen. There were some flies in the summer which we were warned about so they had an automatic spray in the main living area. Had nearby supermarkets, and also very close to town centre and Pukekura Park (about 10min walk).

Convenient spot

A handy location for Bowl of Brooklyn events; and an easy walk into the city and to the foreshore. Kitchen is fairly well equipped; washing machine is extremely noisy: don't attempt to do a load if you are expecting anyone to be sleeping. Neighbourhood is a bit run-down. Overall, we had a good time, relaxing and enjoyng each other's company.
