Nestled in the heart of Mangawhai Heads, our spacious, family-friendly retreat is designed for fun, relaxation, and easy access to everything you love about the area. Just a short, flat walk to the estuary or a quick drive to the surf beach, you’ll find countless activities at your doorstep.
Inside, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, and even a popcorn machine for movie nights. The home comfortably accommodates two families, with two bedrooms and a bathroom in each wing, providing ample space and privacy.
Entertainment is a priority here: a games room stocked with table tennis, air hockey, and a classic arcade gaming console ensures there’s something for everyone. Outside, the 12-foot trampoline and outdoor seating with a BBQ setup create the perfect atmosphere for unwinding. After a day in the surf or on the sand dunes, rinse off in the warm outdoor shower.
We’ve got your beach days covered with two large inflatable paddleboards and soft roof racks for estuary adventures, plus boogie boards for tackling the waves or riding the sand dunes.
When it’s time to explore, you’re just minutes from the Wood St shops, where you’ll find a range of eateries, from pizza and burgers to sushi and kebabs. Whether you’re here to surf, dine, or simply relax, “Sunsets on Spinifex” has it all.

2 x Inflatable Paddleboards, plus soft roof racks for your car. 2 x boogie boards. Large Beach Umbrella. Games room with Table Tennis, Air Hockey and a TV with retro games.
Additional things to note:
LINEN: Please note that other than pillows, duvets and duvet covers, linen is not included in the tariffs but can be rented for $25 per person. If you wish to add linen, please add a note to your booking with what beds you wish to use so they can be made up and we will send you a payment request. We have linen as an optional extra to make a more affordable holiday for those who wish to bring their own.
