Welcome to Highland Oaks Retreat. A cozy and relaxing mountain cabin in the pines, packed with essentials and comforts from home to provide the perfect setting for your next getaway with friends or family vacation to the mountains. Located just ten minutes from local activities including the ski resorts, marina, and Village shops, this quiet and relaxing location will make you feel disconnected while staying conveniently central.
Snuggle up together on the comfy couch as you warm your toes in front of the toasty fireplace and watch the snow falling outside. The open floor plan leads to the dining area and equipped kitchen which has everything needed to whip up your home cooked meals and snacks for the mountain. A separate laundry room area offers a washer and dryer for those wet snow clothes or extended visits. Enjoy quick access to a lower-level bedroom and bathroom while two additional sleeping quarters and an added bathroom can be found upstairs on the second level, there is plenty of space here for everyone.
Venture outside where you are surrounded by nature under soaring pine trees and great ambience as you relax and unwind in the spacious private spa. A nice patio is the perfect spot to sip your first cup of coffee in the morning before heading out for fun. Enjoy ample flat parking and a convenient location no matter the season you choose to visit Big Bear. No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.
This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.
We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
