Amazing location, lots of space for a large family reunion. Charla was a fantastic host. We really enjoyed the space and the amenities. Staying here was a great way to enjoy Canmore. Yes the train tracks are right behind the property, so it's noticeable, but it did not take away from how much we enjoyed it.

I had an amazing stay here. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The view of the mountains was absolutely unreal—waking up to that scenery every morning was something I'll never forget. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Sitting outside at night, enjoying the fresh air and quiet with a mountain backdrop, was the perfect way to unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful, private, and felt like a true escape from the city. Check-in was smooth, communication with the host was easy, and everything was exactly as listed—if not better. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with incredible views. I'm already thinking about coming back.

Great place for a big group

Had a great stay here. Very clean and a lot of space. Quick drives to Banff, Sunshine Village, and Norquay. Lake Louise about 1 hour but beautiful and easy drive. Asked host a question and they immediately responded. Easy check in and check out. Overall highly recommend!

Great 10 Bed Accommodations

10 person ski trip to ski the Big 3. Plenty of room for all, great out door grill and hot tub. Everyone had a great time and never felt crowded. We could all sit down for homemade meals at large dinning table. I would definitely recommend for large groups.

The house worked out great overall. Good location. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. The upstairs master bedroom bed apparently was not that supportive (it sinks down in the middle). But no other complaints about the other beds. Kitchen has everything you need. Lots of furniture, nice views, hottub was nice to have. Parking is a bit tight to pull in if you have a large vehicle. But very convenient to have that spot right there. Overall we were very happy.

Canmore Two Story house

Efficient use of space in both the upper and lower floors. The unit sits within a parking area for other multiple smaller units although it has its own covered parking space. The view outside the upstairs living area is impressive although there is a large hotel structure being built that partially obstructs the view. There is a train track very close by which can be view positively (if you like the sound of trains) or negatively (if you don't like being awakened somewhat early in the morning by a train). Overall a good place for a larger group to launch their visit up to Banff and Canmore is charming.

Thank you for the upgrade. Sunset Retreat has a gorgeous view, quiet and safe neighborhood, spacious home, solid structure, good sound insulation, good lighting, some nice bedrooms. Appreciate the piano in the living room, the telescope for star gazing, and the ping pong table in the basement. However, there a general lack of maintenance as show by the dying house plants (we watered them), dirty and worn lanai furniture, poor condition of the recreation equipment in the garage, and unsafe cookware in the kitchen (we tightened the screws for the very loose handles of the wok and frying pan).

Friends reunion

We had a large group of long time friends reuniting. We found the house so clean and it was comfortable for everyone’s needs. Beautifully set up and decorated. The kitchen was so well stocked and there were very thoughtful touches throughout the house. We really appreciated all the helpful information and well planned spaces for and supplies.
