Great ski week
The place worked out great for us.The hot tub was nice and maintained throughout our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and even a selection of spices. It wasn't exactly "ski in - ski out" but certainly easy enough, and it was a short walk or free shuttle to the village

Lindsay's place was lovely, convenient, quiet, cozy, clean and well stocked for preparing our own meals. She was friendly and always responded quickly to our requests. The beds were comfortable, the private balcony hot tub with the gorgeous view was wonderful. There were plenty of towels conveniently provided for the spa. The short walk along the Valley Path to the village was very pretty. I would suggest though that anyone with limited mobility might find negotiating the stairs up to the unit difficult as well as hauling their luggage to and from the street for a shuttle pickup and drop off. As a senior, I did not find that a problem. I can not speak to the parking as we did not have a car. I would suggest that anyone arriving without a car (which is not needed when there) should time their arrival to Sun Peaks close to the check-in time as there could be an issue of what to do with luggage while waiting (lesson learned!). Lindsay did her best to get us in as soon as the cleaning was finished which was greatly appreciated. Another consideration when visiting without a car is getting the garbage to the waste disposal site when checking out but that issue could be resolved via the cleaners or the host. Bottomline, is that I highly recommend Lindsay's beautiful retreat and would be very happy to stay there again. Thank you so much, Lindsay!

Great space!
We stayed as a family of six, with kids aged 6-12, and had a great experience! The kids all chose to stay in the bunk bed room together, which worked perfectly for them. The space itself felt spacious and had everything we needed, including a few handy kitchen essentials like a few spices and cooking spray. Just a heads-up: bring your own coffee. There’s a Nespresso machine with a couple of starter pods (thanks to the owners!), but we ran out quickly. There’s also a coffee pot, but the provided coffee grinds were a bit weak for our taste.The hot tub was a highlight—absolutely awesome after a day out! All the linens were soft and comfy, which made for a great night’s sleep. The ski locker was super convenient and spacious, making it easy to store our gear.Parking was easy. The unit has one dedicated spot in the underground parkade and we never had trouble finding visitor parking when needed. The grounds were perfect for the kids, with plenty of snow to play in, including a big pile from the parking lot that turned into a makeshift slide.We didn’t try the ski-in/ski-out access since we opted to drive to the village each morning. Two of our kids are newer snowboarders, so we didn’t want to risk dealing with any flat areas.One thing to note: the couch in the living room is a futon-style and quite firm. Also, there’s no TV in the master bedroom, but the bunk room and living room both have TV.The hosts were fantastic—quick to respond and very ac accommodating!

We have been VRBO travellers since 2014 and we are so grateful to open one of our family spaces with the VRBO community. Traveling with our young daughters, we seek a quiet, cozy, unique oasis - and one with a stocked kitchen is ideal. We bring to you, The Northerner. A fully equipped, fully stocked getaway where you can relax, play and explore Canada’s 2nd largest ski resorts. The Northerner is a space we love to be as a family.
Currently our family resides in Kamloops, BC, Canada where we are fortunate to enjoy all four seasons of recreation. Having both been born and raised in Northern BC, The Northerner @Sun Peaks was inspired.
We are looking forward to sharing our space and continuing to roam the world thru the VRBO community for many years to come.
