In the end it all worked out and we had a great stay in Cincinnati. The start was a nightmare. I received notice of check-in instructions days before my arrival (a good thing) yet when I tried to see those instructions 30 mins before check-in I could not. Nor at 15 mins before check-in. Nor at the check-in time. Nor after the check-in time. I began calling the listed number and was trapped in the automated AI loop of "I will connect you with the Cincinnati Team" but (after an hour of frustrated waiting) was NEVER connected. For 45 minutes the AI assistant tried to console me but NEVER connected me. Finally, I walked into the apartment leasing office for assistance. The capable staff there ALSO called the AI asst. and after two minutes, called an alternate number. They confirmed my reservation and THEY were able to get MY HOST to re-send the check in instructions. ONLY THEN was I able to enter the apartment. When I was able to speak with a HUMAN I received exactly the kind, reassuring service and results we all expect. She helped. We rented two apartments. Neither was on the river side of the building (not explicitly promised, but certainly pictured in the listing). The apartments were in an EXCELLENT location and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. The spaces were quite clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had a GREAT time in Cincy. I would return -- even to this property. Snafus happen, but they really need to streamline and vet their check-in process.
