Stop, look and listen. Immerse yourself in our environment where scribbly bark gums and blossoming natives are home to cockatoos, lorikeets, king parrots and pink & grey galas. By night, gaze at the stars - a time of comfort, peace and solitude.
Banksia Cottage in Cooloola Cove is central to Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and K'gari. We offer Greyhound pick-up for a fee from Wallu and Rainbow Beach. Come for the fishing, boating, cycling, golfing, bowling, 4x4 off-roading - we've got it all!

Do not drive on the lawns if we have experienced prolonged periods of rain.

Our close proximity to both Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay offers guests multiple opportunities to go boating, hiking, beach 4x4, access to K'gari and Double Island Point and National Parks great walks.

Ample space and secure parking makes our property a perfect spot to settle for a week or more with your caravan, trailer, boat, jet ski, kayaks and bicycles. Sit around the fire pit, toast marshmallows, have a chat and enjoy a few drinks under the stars.
