Welcome to Calvin Container Cottage – a unique shipping container cottage, nestled in nature. This cottage offers all the modern amenities for your comfort, while found in the forest, and close to many outdoor opportunities.

The cottage is a new construction and has two bedrooms, each with a double bed and all linens. A full kitchen has everything you need to make all meals and snacks. Step outside to BBQ and enjoy time on the oversized deck, just steps away from the fire pit. The cottage is a short drive to both Mattawa and North Bay!

Enjoy the Calvin Container Cottage to connect with family, catch up with friends, and most importantly to access nature, unwind and recharge.

The location was perfect both for my purpose and my taste. Right across from the property is a beautiful park next to the "community center" which has an outdoor skating rink, park and baseball diamond. The road was well plowed and access to the property was great. The home it self was beautiful, very well appointed and clean. Hosts we're very accommodating as I did a longer stay than I would imagine is normal for this type of rental situation. I liked it enough to book it again!

This was a great experience. The first time seeing the place we knew we would have a great stay. The place was spotless. A wonderful greeting welcomed us. Comfortable beds. Private grounds. BBQ and fire pit. And the deck we loved. We spent alot of time relaxing on it. Great set up. We hope we get the chance to stay again. Thanks to the excellent host!!

Very nice cabin, clean and comfortable, peaceful and quiet. The area was nice for walks in the summer and we enjoyed eating our meals on the large deck. Host very helpful and responsive, check-in/out process easy.

Beautiful and private. Airy space and very comfortable. A unique dwelling with a beautiful large deck and fire pit. Rooms were nicely appointed and had everything you could need. Owners were prompt with replies to any questions we had and kept a meticulously clean cottage. Beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend and would visit again.
