The Space:
Fantastic Fishing Spot – Step right outside to some of the best fishing on the island! Whether you’re after redfish, trout, or flounder, you’ll have direct access to the water from your private dock. Night fishing? No problem – the canal is known to attract fish under the moonlight!
Kick Back & Unwind – After a successful day on the water, fire up the charcoal grill, gather around the Solo Stove fire pit, or pour a drink at the fun tiki bar (complete with refrigerator, microwave, sink) while you swap stories about the one that got away.
Room for the Whole Crew – With 4 spacious bedrooms and plenty of living space, there’s plenty of room to relax before another day of tight lines and smooth waters. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make meal prep easy – whether it’s fresh catch or a hearty breakfast before heading out.

NOTE: Boat slip is not available, but there is room to tie up your boat. Golf cart not included or available for guest use for safety/liability reasons.

It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.
The Neighborhood:
Sea Isle is a beautiful community, located about 12 miles from Galveston's seawall, often referenced as the West End. It has that laid back beach flavor perfect for your getaway. One of the popular neighborhood hot spots is the West End Restaurant & Marina which frequently offers live music, plenty of tvs airing different sporting events/games, good food, and tasty cold beverages. There is also access to the public beaches (3), boat ramp, marina, park, basketball courts, seasonal swimming pool (Sea Isle POA charges $100/week for amenity pass, available from the office during normal business hours, with advanced notice by 979's staff, Memorial Day through Labor Day, subject to change) and tennis courts, so guests get an opportunity to experience the benefits of both the Gulf and Bay sides of the island.

The 979 Crew is comprised of island locals who are passionate about making sure the home you chose is nothing short of clean, comfortable, and ready for your group's fun! Every home is fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels which are replaced upon every turnover including the duvet covers and shams (we've heard not every company does this, and we think that's just gross). We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!
🐾 PUP-FRIENDLY:
Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.
WIFI/TV SERVICE:
Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

Property as expected. Very much satisfied our needs except for only 1 bathroom upstairs in master.....you had to go downstairs to use the facilities. But we will stay again!

House is lovely! Really nice set up! Beautiful decks both up and down. We had a little confusion about the boat slip, my fault for not reading more carefully. Good communication with 979 . They answer emails etc very quickly! Great long weekend!
