We are Dog Friendly! Our Farmstead Townhome is approximately 10 miles, or a 15-minute drive, from Downtown Galena
1.5 miles from the GTA Owner's Club, which features pools, tennis courts, and a fitness center.

Happy family time in Galena

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We all enjoyed the wonderful home & setting. Only complaints was that kitchen pass threw counter was dirty, there were not enough towels for everyone and if the house houses 10 people there should be enough pool passes for all and not have to pay extra. Also pool hours need to be open a little later so could go for swim after dinner.

Had a fabulous girlfriends’ week - plenty of space, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Note: a few sets of short stairs to condo but convenient parking. Great location and views. Appreciated all the attention to detail: regular coffeepot, filters, a bit of coffee; Keurig coffeemaker and good selection of coffee pods; some basic ingredients/seasonings; hot cocoa mix; tea bags; 3 hairdryers; comfortable beds; plenty of dishes, pots & pans, cups, and glasses. Lots of games including pac-man machine. Keyless entry very convenient snd easy. Loved every minute: thank you!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family and everything was great! The wood burning fire place (with wood provided for us) was warm and cozy and we had plenty of room to be comfortable. There were all the dishes and pans needed to make our large meal. We would definitely stay here again!

We had one pet and it worked out great. Kitchen had all the tools to support making a very special Christmas dinner. Access to the Owner's Lodge was a great elevation for the family from swimming to fitness to game room...it was resort living with a comfortable environement.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a terrific stay! The home provided us with private space for multiple family units. The home was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with our host was timely and she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! The ONLY concern was that two family members use a wheelchair and walker and the home was quite a distance from the parking lot and had three sets of stairs to get to it.

Was nice. A bit of a walk to front door and the stairs was an issue. Had to make trips and carry items. That was the tough end. Was nice is you dont have a lot of groceries or luggage.

We arrived 30 minutes early and the property was not ready. I had left 2 emails with the owner to address concerns prior to arrival and had no response. When we arrived I received a call from the owner letting me know it would ready at 4pm. The property was in the rear of the long walk way with 3 staircases. There are no ramps for luggage or wheelchair accessibility. The unit had a main level bedroom, bathroom kitchen and living space. It was comfortable and manageable for my 92 year young mom. Plenty of space to relax. Kitchen was well equipped but the drawers were not well organized. Plenty of coffee cups and 2 types of coffee machines. Which was on of my questions to the owner. Windows upstairs were old rotting and hard to open. Did not sleep downstairs but 2 bedrooms, bathroom and living space were inspected for security of doors and windows. We played the very cool Pac-Man game and turn off 2x Weird Phantom TV (removed battery from remote).

This location and home are wonderful. Thoughtful owners provide a great space for our guests. As stated several times to the guest, an early arrival was not available. They attempted entry while housekeeping was still performing their duties and we had to ask them to wait. The property’s address is available at the time of booking. Guests are responsible for ensuring the location and accessibility meet the needs of their group before making a reservation. Dear future guests - We believe the lower rating is primarily related to our inability to offer an early check-in, rather than the quality of the home or stay.

Quiet place to stay

This was our first time in Galena and we fell in love with the area. It's a beautiful little town and this home is in a really quiet area. Even though it was 4th of July weekend and all the townhomes were occupied, there was no loud music or people. The home was the perfect size for our group of 8 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant. We didn't feel like we were on top of each other, the beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa was nice to sleep on, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The club house was nice and close by. Management was quick to answer messages and obviously cared about our experience. We will definitely be going through them again when we return to Galena in the near future.

We were told that living room heat was not working. It wasn’t that cold, so no problem. Sunday morning tried using microwave, door wouldn’t shut properly because decorative glass on door was out of whack. Found a pan that another guest didn’t bother to clean

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was a great location, the access to the pool was perfect for the kids, and we loved sitting on the two porches to enjoy the nice weather we got.
