Broken locks on doors, no closets, no walls separating rooms workmen in unit and painting deck while we were there-unacceptable.

Wow this lady is something else, she booked wrong dates, one day too short and when I came to the apartment she did not wanted to leave and closed doors in front of me, I had to call VRBo to get her out. Two balcony locks were broken and maintenance came over and fixed it. No closets? Is she serious? My suggestion is don't rent it to her, there will be problems

The views and proximity are great. The property could use a little maintenance and updating, but really how often are you in the room in Hawaii. The property manager was very accommodating and easy to work with on our trip.

Wonderful time at the Ilikai

We stayed at this property for more than a week for a big family reunion in Oahu. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view of the Ilikai marina. We were able to fit 6, with our kids on the pull out couch and grandma in her own bedroom. We would happily stay here again.

Property was nice. Condo had a few items that could be updated like all the curtains & bathroom shower handle broken hard to turn on & off. One lamp in livingroom didnt work. The fan vent cover above the microwave when turning on watch out the cover flies off. Valet Parking 45.00 a night, Cheeper parking in the back if you can get a spot. But all in all stay was good. Hawaii is beatiful!!!

Perfect Location

Great space with beautiful view, centrally located to everything. Great space to celebrate a 60th and 30th birthday. Short walk to Luau, Lagoon, paddle boarding, sunset cruise, great restaurants and beautiful beaches. You can do everything or nothing.

Great view and average resort. The unit has nice spaces and the beds were comfortable. Beach chairs were a plus. The furniture is old and beat up. It’s not fancy or updated. The view makes the place. Plus lists of space.

The unit is very dated and aged. It could definitely use a deep cleaning. We were provided 2 towels and 2 washcloths. We checked in on Thursday and out on Friday. Additional towels would have been nice. We were provided 2 beach towels but were required to launder them if used. The 8 cost to wash beach towels was a bit excessive.

We were so impressed when we entered the condo and saw the beautiful view of the marina and ocean. We were in Oahu for our daughter’s wedding and it was roomy enough for several guests to visit and have snacks and drinks. I highly recommend.

Can't beat the view!

If your #1 priority is having a fantastic view then this is your place! It has a panoramic view of the ocean/harbor and city. It also has a piano for those of you who are inclined to play. The furniture is a little dated and we had a few issues while we were there but nothing earth shattering. The owner was very responsive and the check in/out process is very easy. The unit is high enough to get a good view but low enough not to have to wait as long for an elevator. All in all it was a good stay.

TLC needed

The view and location was perfect, but the condo need some TLC. Definitely was not for 6 people. The sofa bed was not possible to sleep on. Fortunately there was a air matress that save the day.

2 couples traveling together

The view was fantastic, however the owners need to go in and fix several things that are in need of repair. Example one dining room table chair was stashed away in closet broken, the floor boards in kitchen area need be replaced due water damage. Fabric on bar chair was torn. Be aware only one bathroom has a shower and the other only has bathtub Be aware the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel next door is on strike and you must tolerate picketers loudly using bull horns from 8a-8p and you will hear them at the pool or when you are sitting on balcony! This was very annoying and we should of been advised that this was going on next door!

Cleanliness v view

Property was filthy, frying pans with dried on eggs and dirty oil , the shower hasn't been cleaned in years, tv in main room didn't work, sliding door didn't join together or lock, dishes where greasy, cooker oven set of alarm , rocking chair on veranda couldn't be used as bottom was ripped, no chair's on small veranda , taps in shower room basin had no flow only a trickle of water from both taps . The whole flat is dated and needs upgrading.

Paying for location only

The location at Ililkai is always excellent. Condo was roomie but ill-equipped: 1 dishtowel, no dishwasher soap, furniture was early American rummage sale, curtains filthy, paint chipped (I have pics). I had I to reach out to property owner prior to arrival for check in instructions. After that, I could text throughout visit. I was able to check in an hour early. Thought I could sleep six comfortably, but only four, so made my daughter stay at other daughter's apartment. Not happy. Wouldn't stay there again. I will look for other Ililkai location.

Spectacular View

When you walk in, the first thing you see is the view of the ocean. It's a corner unit with two balconies and windows galore. Open concept floor plan, nice kitchen. Had some snorkel gear, boogie boards and beach chairs which was nice. It could use some work, paint, shower door and some additional furnishings like a coffee table. Patio chairs were a bit beat up. The dinning table had only two chairs, plus two bar chairs, a little awkward. A/C was terrific which a life saver. One bathroom has a little privacy issue and has a jacuzzi tub. Not sure if it worked, but it would seem a shower would be ideal and enclosed bathroom. However, the location and view is terrific and we're not there to stay in the room all day.
