Relaxing cabin on a beautiful lake

Our family stayed for a week in the fall and had a wonderful time. Cabin was located about 20 minutes from Minocqua, a really great town. Area was quiet and safe. Property had a beautiful yard with private dock on a beautiful lake. Cabin was very nice. Great living room and kitchen.

We stayed here last year as well. This year we rented a pontoon boat to fish the lakes. We had a terrific time! Julie is so polite and helpful with anything we need. Thank you again for another great stay!

Perfect lake house for a family.

We had an ideal, laid-back northwoods week here. The house has everything you need for the outdoors and the indoors. We caught fish off the dock and from the canoe and kayaks and enjoyed the easy lake access. The house is perfectly located just 20 minutes from Minocqua, giving you easy access to anything you might need to pick up or just some time in town. The hosts are extremely responsive and there is detailed useful info in the house book. We had an excellent stay!

Summer vacation

Nice relaxing getaway with my family on a great fishing lake and beautiful atmosphere full of the great outdoors. This was our 2nd time here and we would definitely come back. Home was clean, spacious and has plenty to do if the weather is bad. It's always great staying here!

Our stay here was great! We love everything about the cabin, including its location, the dock and kayaks, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. This was our second time staying here, and we hope to be back again!

Great Vacation Home

Everything about this vacation home was great, The home, yard, parking area and lake front where clean and perfect for our stay. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and top notch. We enjoyed the fire ring and the very quietness of the location. We had perfect late summer weather throughout the week. The dock was very nice for two boats. Very Nice Place to Stay

Nice place to stay, we kept ourselves busy with friends in the local area so we weren't able to spend a lot of time enjoying some of the amenities (fishing/campfire space) of the property but would certainly recommend! The aforementioned are top notch. Dock is modern and I had no issues with tying off my boat there or it being damaged or bounced around. We encountered a very few minor issues, and none that would stop us returning. In fact, I'm certain we will!

Very relaxing vacation

It was one of our best vacations. The house was very welcoming and nicely decorated. Everything was as described. Being able to just go out and fish on the dock anytime you want was the best thing for my kids. WE WILL BE BACK!!

Annual Northwoods Vacation

Our cabin was everything and more! We spent the week enjoying the property and lake. Took the two kayaks out everyday and took them over to Musky Jacks to have a few drinks and eat! We played ping pong inside on our rainy day and had a nice fire pit going midweek. We're definitely coming back!

We had a great time at this cabin! About 20 minutes from Minocqua so it was quite but not far from activities! Really new/nice place to stay with the family for a week! Will certainly book again!

Enjoyable week on Pike Lake

Great location with an awesome view. A nice chain of lakes for fishing . Our family also enjoyed the kayaking and the sand bar. The house was well maintained and had everything we needed for a week stay. We are hoping to be back for a vacation next summer!!

Good fishing, easy access

Had a good time in the northwoods. The chain of lakes has great fishing. Easy to get around. Great to be able to use the boat ramp over at Muskey Jacks just right around the corner. Would stay here again. Thanks for letting us use your place! We greatly appreciate it.

Excellent Stay!

We absolutely loved staying here. The house was so clean and comfortable, and we had fun kayaking on the lake and sitting at the end of the dock. One morning, we were startled awake by someone entering the home to pick up linens, but this will not deter us from staying here again. We’ve already booked our next stay! We highly recommend vacationing here!

Awesome house on Pike Lake

Everything we wanted for a great snowmobiling trip. Right on the lake, close to trails, and bar and grills nearby. Would absolutely stay here again and will!

Beautiful views and wonderful property

This was a beautiful property! The hosts were very responsive to questions or needs. Did not get a chance to fish as this was a work trip but sat comfortably on the dock and took in the beauty! We also had a wonderful fire after the work day was done. This is a great spot for family and friends too. They have games, and kayaks, and things for folks to do. There is a fridge the garage and upstairs. A nice little getaway! Thank you for such a beautiful space to make memories!

Northwoods Vacation Stay

My family and I have been vacationing in the Northwoods since I was a little girl and we have come to love the Pike Lake Chain!! We enjoyed our stay at your cabin and all it had to offer! The well- maintained cabin and property was the perfect space for our group. Thank you for allowing us to check-in early to accommodate our schedule. We spent a lot of time on the water, however the wind speeds made fishing a little more complicated. We did manage to catch enough for our annual Friday night fish fry! :) Looking forward to visiting next year and creating lasting memories for all. Thanks again for sharing your cabin with us, it was overall a great experience!

Great Stay on Pike Lake

We had a great time. The property was perfect size for a family of four. we made great use of the kayaks and canoe provided. We certainly appreciated the nice dock and power available at the dock for recharging our boat batteries. Communication with our hosts was great. There was a scheduled service during our stay but it was clearly communicated and a non issue. Will look at booking this again for future vacations.

Great Northwoods Experience!

This cabin was a real Vrbo find on a quiet lake! 6 people comfortable slept, ate and played here for a lovely week in July. The adults LOVED using the kayaks on this quiet lake, and the kids adored playing on the floating mat in the lake. The kitchen has everything you could need in order to cook and keep your family happy. The internet was very spotty and unreliable during our entire stay, and the smart TV couldn't buffer/connect to the internet about 95% of the time. The kids got a little cranky about this. If you have a portable DVD player and some movies, that might help if you have littles who want to wind down with TV. There were plenty of games, and it's a short 20-minute drive into Minocqua where there's plenty of fun to be had. My Vrbo App said have the linens stripped by 10, check out at 11, but the cleaning folks arrived at 10:15 and told me check out was 10 as we were just finishing eating and packing the last of our things in the car before getting on the road. So, to future guests, I guess I'd say make sure you are gone by 10am. This really was a wonderful getaway. Jim and Julie have a very special place here, and it's all you need for a perfect family vacation!

Wonderful stay

Our family had a wonderful time here. They had all of the comforts of home and then some. We are a family of 4 with two little ones (3 and 5). We love to fish and it was great to launch the boat and leave it docked and get up and go out in the morning. We did okay with the fishing on Pike Lake, blue gills, crappies and perch, one walleye and one northern. We enjoyed swimming off the dock using the lilypad and inner tubes. Jim and Julie were prompt in answering questions and very friendly. We met the neighbor and he was also friendly and helpful. Tom the property manager was kind. It is convenient to get in and out of the cabin and we felt safe and secure. It seemed newly remodeled and very clean. Great to have central AC and a dishwasher. There are games and puzzles for grown ups and little ones. My daughter fell in love with a book there that I now have to purchase. Great little selection of books. A lot of outdoor games to play, just bring bug spray (although) they got better after the first few nights. We loved it. Would definitely stay again and encourage others to have the experience too!

Last minute getaway.

We had a great time, everything we needed was provided for us! Lots of games and outdoor toys for us to use. The property has a wonderful shoreline with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin has a nice kitchen and a good layout, the bed was really comfortable as well. Highly recommend this cabin and the owners were very accommodating to our schedule and responded quickly to our questions.
