This New Haven property is very nice! The host was fast to respond to all questions. It was a little far from the Hermann wineries but, overall, it was a great stay.
Enjoyed our stay. The owners of the property were very friendly. The place was clean and roomy. I loved having a washer & dryer in the house. Also, there is a country store/ restaurant on the same property, which was very handy in case you forget anything or if you get hungry. We would definitely come back if we ever come back to Hermann.
Place was very clean and served its purpose well. I would recommend adding things like a sponge to do dishes if you require them to be done, paper towels, and just a few other accommodations to make the guest feel more at home, having to make a run to Walmart, which is 20 minutes away to get certain things it’s not ideal. This is a great place to stay if you’re coming to Herman to have a good time, the trolley does come all the way out there to pick you up and it’s very very very peaceful.

Thank you for staying with us! We appreciate your feedback back, we do provide dish cloths to do the dishes with so we can wash and reuse those after each stay. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the peaceful stay.
This property was great for what we needed for a disconnect weekend. We arrived on Friday night and found the condo very clean and spacious. Unfortunately, it was VERY warm so we spent the evening trying to cool the place down. I always travel with a box fan and that helped. By bedtime it was pretty good but I didn't realize till the next morning a "program" ran on the thermostat and it was in the low 80s again and we didn't sleep well. Saturday we received a message suggesting we were smoking something in the unit which we were not. I messaged back and offered the owner to come take a look when we leave for Hermann and she declined. It made me uncomfortable that it was thought we would do that in someone's home. We spent a few hours in Hermann which was a beautiful short drive and then headed back to the place to relax the rest of the day. One more slight inconvenience is there are virtually no lamps only bright overhead lights. There is one floor lamp we moved around and small battery lamps for the nightstands which seemed to die quickly. This made it difficult to read and do things in the kitchn in the evening. I would suggest they add a dimmer to the overhead lights for a better option. Overall, this place was very nicely laid out, beautiful decor with natural wood beams and barn tin ceiling. The bathrooms were gorgeous and check out routine was easy. There is also a wonderful store below the unit that I wish we had taken advantage of in our stay.
