Semi oceanfront - dog friendly

Pelican Reef is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, semi oceanfront cottage located at the end of a cul de sac in the village of Waves. Beach access is across the street- literally steps away. This cottage is newly listed on VRBO, and has been renovated in 2020 featuring all new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, 65 inch smart TV, wifi, full size water and dryer, and a new deck. New flooring 2024.Enjoy fabulous ocean views, and sunsets over the sound. There is an outdoor shower and ample parking underneath the house. The three bedrooms consist of two queen beds and one bedroom with two twin beds. All bedrooms have memory foam mattress toppers and flat screen Roku TVs. Only bed linens are provided. Bath towels are available for rental. There is a screened in porch with additional seating and a porch swing. Underneath the house features a hammock, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, several beach chairs, umbrellas, awesome beach cart, corn hole, and tiki toss. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay including a vitamix blender, steam pot, air fryer, keurig and traditional coffee makers, and barware. The jellyfish table can glow in the dark if you shine a flashlight on them for just a few minutes. This cottage is less than half a mile from Pamlico Sound which is a world class destination for kiteboarding, windsurfing, and fishing. Upon arrival you will find a complimentary welcome package including one roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, one bottle of dish soap, hand soap, and laundry detergent, 2 dishwasher pods, and a kitchen sponge in a reusable tote to help you get settled. This area of the Outer banks has unique restaurants, shopping, and a variety of things to do for people of all ages. The Rodanthe pier is a half mile to the north. We encourage you to view our other rental VRBO 707603 to read reviews on a very similar cottage that is located just steps away. Based on availability, these two cottages would provide the perfect solution for those traveling in larger groups so that everyone can have their own space yet still be together. The cottages are perfect for young families with a no traffic beach access. We are very responsive to all inquiries and are happy to answer any questions. Hope to hear from you soon. Nice Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay this week. The house was decorated cute/beachy. It had all the cookware you’d need, comfy screened in porch and a deck to sit and relax as well. The owner was great with getting right back with us if we needed anything. We were all very pleased with this rental. Thanks again!

Rodanthe visit

My husband and I stayed a few days with our small dog. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was perfect for us! The location was fantastic and accommodations as expected. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean on one side and the sunsets on the other. We walked on the beach (literally right across the street) in the mornings. The property was very pet friendly. We will definitely be back again!

Fun beach stay

Cozy home located in between two RV parks. Beach was crowded in July due to the location of the RV parks to the left and right. The beds are very comfortable!! The linens were great as well making it a restful vacation. The home was welcoming and very clean. We did experience some theft there as someone took my sons brand new beach shoes that we purchased the same day. Otherwise, we had a great stay!!

As advertised and some things were even better than advertised!

We would definitely stay here again! Owners were great to work with and the views of the sunrises and sunsets were incredible. You couldn't ask for any easier access to the beach, we loved it!

Nice property ! Love the updates on the house . Very clear instructions on check in and check out. Comfy beds! Nice beach! Great stay! Great beach house

My family has been staying in Rodanthe since my sister and I were kids. The location of this property couldn’t be better, and the house is as cute as can be with plenty of amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time during our stay. Just around the corner from two companies that provide kite boarding and surfing lessons and the beach is just over the dune!

Perfect OBX week

Loved this property. Great week with my son for our annual beach getaway — and our pampered pooch was very happy to chase balls and birds at the shore for a week. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Thanks for a great stay.

My family and I had a wonderful time. The home was very nice. Location to beach was excellent!

1st time using VRBO amd the process was easy. I especially loved the interaction with the Host. They were very helpful with any questions I asked prior to arrival to property.

Pelican reef was terrific

We spent a week at pelican reef for our 30th anniversary. The weather was perfect. The house was cozy and welcoming. We had an amazing time and would recommend this to anyone. Can’t wait to stay again!

Cool, cozy surf shack

Clean, cozy property steps from the beach in a nice, laid back town with surfers and kite boarders. Amenities and appliances all worked very good. Kitchen was well stocked. Our family had a great time. Would stay again.
