Matarangi is located between Coromandel town and Whitianga on the beautiful Coromandel peninsula. Located an easy 5 minute walk to the famous Dunes golf club where you can play golf every day and drink and dine.

Your cabin is located just 5 minutes drive to the white sands of Matarangi beach or boat ramp. Cabin has it's own shower and toilet, with magnificent peaceful views across one of The Dunes Golf Course lakes.

Matarangi is famous for the native birds that fly and wander around, as well as a great central location for visiting the famous New Chums beach, Black Jack road and Opito Bay, Whitianga and Coromandel towns all within 20km drive.

WHATS IN MATARANGI
Matarangi has a cafe, supermarket and liquor shop for any supplies you may need. Kuaotunu is just 10 minutes drive. Check out Lukes Cafe or drive 30 minutes to Whitianga and take a hot pool swim at The Lost Resort. Use your Matarangi accommodation as a starting point to explore further round the coast.

Snapper fishing is outstanding from September to April. Enjoy your catch fishing off the beach or rocky outcrops.
