Who and what is Fitzroy?

Well, it is a village filled with people like no other. The energy is intoxicating. You never know what wonderful conversations you'll have with a cuppa on the front porch in the sun.

Stepping off the porch, you have a lovely park right behind the house. Condell Reserve is perfect for afternoon picnics, dog rest stops, and kid pandemonium in the super cool playground.

Fitzroy has more restaurants, pubs and bars than any other suburb in Melbourne. Leave the car at home and go for an adventure on foot.

Cooking at home? No worries. Go to one of 5 supermarkets within a 5-minute walk, along with a heap of specialist grocers for all persuasions and diets.

Booze? You'll find nine bottle shops on the same walk.

Looking for something to wear that makes you feel fabulous? From basics to boutiques, without major chains, Fitzroy is a shopper's heaven. And there are loads of fabulous vintage shops too.

Music fanatics will love Fitzroy with its diverse live music scene, clubs for everyone, and 7 vinyl shops!

Nothing beats wandering the residential streets amongst the stunning period houses and gardens with a gelato from one of the five local gelato stores.

And you can saunter to the MCG, CBD, Museum and all their beautiful gardens in less than 30 minutes.
