Your Dream Getaway - A Slice of Heaven

Aunt Bonnie's Heaven offers an exceptional beachfront retreat on St. Joe Beach, providing a tranquil setting amid convenient surroundings. The ground level comprises the principal living area, which boasts outstanding waterfront views and magnificent sunsets through a wall of sliding glass doors facing the beach. This level also includes the kitchen and dining room, as well as the master bedroom equipped with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a custom tile shower that is sure to impress. Guests can step out onto the open-air deck to enjoy the sea breeze. The fully stocked kitchen meets all meal preparation needs.

Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen-size bed offering picturesque gulf views, and another bedroom furnished with a twin-over-queen bunk bed. Each of these additional bedrooms includes its own en-suite bathroom.

This home will become your own little piece of heaven on earth!

St. Joe Beach and Beacon Hill offer miles of beautiful shoreline facing due west, providing spectacular sunsets and a silhouetted view of St. Joseph Peninsula. Nestled safely inside the Cape's protective barrier, the surf is low and gentle, a safe haven for swimmers of all ages. Public boardwalks and trails to the beach are peppered along the road. Veteran's Memorial Park in Beacon Hill offers plenty of safe parking and is known for its panoramic, elevated view overlooking the Gulf.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A cancellation fee of $200.00 will be charged if you cancel your reservation. Telephone the office as soon as possible in the event you must cancel, change dates or switch properties. Please note that if the reservation is cancelled within 45 days of arrival, we cannot refund your advanced rental payment. Once your reservation is confirmed, any cancellations/date or property changes will be subject to our cancellation policies. Sorry, no refunds for early departures. You may also use the advanced rental payment for a future booking and avoid the cancellation fee. Please call our office if you would like to make arrangements.

Perfect private get away!

Gulf trip

The place was amazing. It had everything we needed and the view was great. The only downside was there was 2 days of rain and it washed the sand away from the beach access which was not anyone's fault. We had a great time and would stay again.

Perfect location & clean home

This was a great location! Clean home and well stocked. Will say it was a little noisy (as I’m sure most are since it sits right on the road) but we brought a sound machine for our toddler and it didn’t bother her one bit. Beautiful sunset every night. We will be coming back!

Wonderful place

This place was amazing. Right on the beach with it’s own boardwalk. The place was better than the pictures and description online. I pulled my boat down and had room to part it at the place. There is a boat ramp less than 3 miles away for anyone thinking about that aspect. I highly recommend this listing to anyone interested in this area.

Excellent!!

Great place! Hopefully we will be able to return. The tide had pushed up sand not allowing the fresh water to release, so we had to wade through water to get to the sand. That is something the city should help with. It did not hinder us, and the beach was awesome!!!! Great location and awesome house!! We will be back!!!

Pics don't do any justice

Everything was great! Right on the sand. Close to groceries and restaurants. Kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms super clean. Comfy beds. Only complain would be the internet- I think that it only worked for 2-3 hours during our whole stay- but since we enjoyed so much each others company, the views and the sea... it wasn't that bad. We will definitelly be back for another vacation. Thank you! Only complain would be the ibterne

Love the house!! Very spacious! Very quiet area! The internet was iffy a lot of time but maintenance came and rebooted 2x in duplex next door where main router was but we lost it again the day before we left! The kitchen was not really fully furnished but they did bring us a large pot and measuring cup and pot holders! We reported the other things they should add! There is standing gross water on beach you had to walk around that was yucky that comes from somewhere between properties that they said was worse when they had lots of rain! But overall we loved the property and enjoyed our stay and even did a fire on beach with s'mores!! Would consider staying there again!

Heaven on Earth

Our family vacation was nothing short of perfection! The home was super clean and the decor was much better than the pictures depict. Great Vacation Home!

My family of 4 had a great Spring Break stay here! The location just steps to the beach was great, and the views from the porch were phenomenal as well. There are not a lot of people on this part of the beach, which was great for the type of trip we were looking for. My 5 year old loved all of the shells that he was able to find at the beach. We went to Panama City Beach last year, and this was a much more relaxing and peaceful trip, though shopping and restaurants are a little more of a drive (~10 minutes to get into Port. St. Joe to get to a Piggly Wiggly). I would definitely recommend planning to get your supplies from the store and cook/prepare meals at the house - the kitchen has everything you need, and there was an outdoor grill as well. The tide here is very gentle compared to other parts of the gulf due to the St Joe Peninsula, which we liked since we have small children. The internet was not working when we arrived (Saturday evening), and was not fixed until lunch time on Monday, which was a little frustrating. I know the timing wasn't ideal for that (we arrived after hours on Saturday, and Sunday is not really a work day). Luckily, this unit had DirecTV, so we were still able to have some entertainment while not at the beach. The unit was well stocked and immaculately clean. The property management company was very nice, responsive, and accommodated a contactless check-in since we were arriving after hours. I will definitely look to stay here again in the future, and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful beach outing.

Amazing property!

This property is even better than the great pictures in the listing! The house cleanliness was Immaculate! The views were amazing and had easy access to the beach! The outdoor shower was heated (which was nice during Spring). I can’t do enough good things about this property! We will be booking this again!

Wonderful beachfront home!

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet beach, white sands, and gorgeous Gulf water! The view from inside the great room is truly phenomenal! The upstairs bunk room is super tight- it would be hard for two teenagers to share the space, but younger kids would do just fine.

Stunning Sunsets

This property was very conveniently located and nice and clean. We enjoyed walking on the beautiful beach and the stunning sunsets each evening. The house was set up well with each bedroom having its own ensuite bathroom plus the extra half bath downstairs. My family had a lovely vacation in your home.

Slice of Heaven.

The online images, as great and accurate at they were, did this rental no justice. It was breathtaking, very accessible, clean and pristinely managed by Forgotten Coast. I would only suggest having the screens in the available unit, for the living room and master bedroom. My family and I enjoyed every moment, especially being right on top of the beach access. We will be back in 2022 for a relative, who lives in Mexico Beach wedding ceremony. Five Stars.

Great place, but could use better service.

Great place but could have used more communication before arrival. Called to confirm a grill was at the location as advertised and inquire about contactless check-in due to covid. Never received a call back. Nobody wearing masks inside or any signs requiring it. Had to meet in person at office to get keys, yet there was a combo key pad on the door. No grill on site so our planned dinner was a bust. Would have been nice if they communicated that.

We are glad you enjoyed the house. We are sorry to hear there was a lack of communication. We are in the office 7 days a week and can be reached during office hours by phone and email. Florida is not a mask mandated state at the moment, which is why there were not signs requiring it posted. We will always arrange a contactless check in if you call before arrival and let us know. The keypad on the front door locks the deadbolt only so if someone locks the handle you would be locked out, which is why there are keys. We have to switch them out often as the salt air ruins them quickly so if there is not one at the time of arrival we will bring one to you if you call, we keep them on hand. We hope that you return to Mexico Beach/St Joe Beach.

Aunt Bonnie's Heaven was everything we wanted! Right on the beach, clean and nicely furnished. We had a great time. Definitely recommend this place for a great getaway.

Fleeing the snow

My wife and I had a wonderful week at this property. It is a very new property. Everything in the house appliances etc. were all quite new. The views of the ocean are wonderful which was appreciated on a couple rainy days. There are wonderful views of the ocean from two of the Bedrooms and in the great room there are large windows which really do give a wonderful view. This is really nestled between two small cities and so it really is out-of-the-way. I jog and walk on the beach each morning and encountered very few people. At this time of the year it’s quite secluded. If we were coming back to this area I would not hesitate to rent this property again. We arrived late and the rental company accommodated that. We had an Internet issue and as I have to work on vacation we notified the property management Who dealt with a problem promptly. I have to voice one criticism. I’m a physician and in my practice I’ve had a lot of Covid deaths and lives changed forever. I was trying to take a break from work and get away from things. I had to go to the rental agency to drop off my license to be copied. Nobody in the office wears a mask and when I voiced that my wife and I mask it did not change their behavior. If their business is not going to try to protect their customers then there needs to be some type of contact free check in.
