Welcome to The Afterdeck, a charming new vacation carriage house apartment nestled in the heart of Asticou Village on Mount Desert Island, Maine.
Sleeps 4 - 2 in the Queen BR and 2 in the Trundle BR with 2 twin beds and there is a Full tub/shower bathroom.

Perfectly situated in the picturesque town of Northeast Harbor, this inviting retreat offers the ideal home base for exploring the beauty and adventure of Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Step outside and enjoy walkable access to Northeast Harbor, the Asticou Azalea Garden, Thuya Garden and the scenic shores of the harbor itself.

Spend your days hiking the nearby Hadlock Ponds Loop, biking the nearby Acadia National Park Carriage Roads with easy access from the Brown Mountain Gatehouse, teeing off at the historic Northeast Harbor Golf Club, or simply relaxing and soaking in the peaceful coastal atmosphere.

The Afterdeck features two comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living space-perfect for families, or friends looking to unwind in a classic Maine setting. Whether you're exploring the charming village or setting out on an island adventure, The Afterdeck offers convenience, comfort, and Mount Desert Island charm in every season.

Absolutely perfect place for my wife and I, and our seven month old daughter. The location was great. We loved being next door to the Asticou Hotel and the Azalea Gardens. We even enjoyed taking a beautiful morning walk to Northeast Harbor. Our daughter especially loved greeting the three resident hens every day. Thanks for a great stay - we hope to be back soon.
