Charming Stay in the Woods

We absolutely loved this quiet and quaint cabin in the woods. It was relaxing and peaceful with a short walk through the woods to the lake or a quick drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time playing in the water and connection as a family in the cabin playing games, laughing, and reading! Thank you for this wonderful reset and stay

Wonderful stay

Our stay at the Harvest Moon Cabin was amazing. We have stayed at several different properties for weekend getaways recently and this is the best property we’ve found yet! The hosts were incredibly accommodating, very helpful with directions on how to get there, and the communication was great with quick response rates from host. The cabin was beautiful and impressively clean with a home feeling to it. There was so much to do on and around the property making it perfect for couples or families who love the outdoors or want the peace and quiet within nature! We would 100% recommend a stay & certainly will be back.

Charming, Cozy, Comfortable, Convenient & Secluded!!!

We truly could not have hoped for a better experience at Harvest Moon Cabin! The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming as possible.Nestled back in the woods, the cabin feels wonderfully private and secluded, while still being just a short walk from the lake. It’s incredibly cozy and inviting, yet somehow offers plenty of space to spread out and relax.The Southern hospitality was unmatched, and every little convenience was provided ... it truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the beauty of Harvest Moon Cabin in all the different seasons. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

My husband and I came here for a working weekend away after two back to back business trips. The Harvest Moon was simple yet cozy and it provided the perfect decompression space. With welcoming seating both indoors and outdoors, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The lake is an easy walk from the cabin. And there are plenty of walking trails to choose from. The Harvest Moon provided the perfect balance of quiet retreat and working functionality. WiFi worked great and allowed us to work as needed during our retreat. Definitely recommend.

Great Escape from the day to day

This cabin was amazing. The decor and fire place was something special. It provides you with a good escape with lots of privacy including your own private trail to the lake (which is a 3 minute walk from the cabin). We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the leaves fall and just soaking in the peace and quiet this cabin provides. It has a modern vibe with a lot of the amenities and upgrades but still fills like the cabin getaways of yester-years. We loved it and enjoyed the Fairytale Cafe which is a 20 minute drive away but a fun little jewel of an eatery. Highly recommend.

Tranquility in the woods

Such a beautiful & well appointed cabin. Everything you need to sit back & enjoy nature or lounge on the large reclining sofa by the fireplace with a book. We loved, loved the outdoor propane firepit in the evenings as well as the BBQ. Relaxing with a glass of wine & listening to the sounds of the forest & trees. The husband got to watch his favorite team play football while we played cards at the table. It's a short walk to the lake & the pups loved walking up the road. In all, an amazing, relaxing getaway so close to Roanoke.
