The property over all is beautiful. Wish the beehives were removed, yoga room was free of spiders and a thermostat in the master as its super hot in Texas. The loft area ( room near the bathroom) could benefit from a thermostat as well. Overall my family enjoyed the home and would return if ever in the area again.

This is a beautiful property. However things to know, the appliances are so modern and rare, that we actually had a hard time getting them to work. Instructions should be posted. The floors are cement and somewhat dangerous for little children. The a/c didnt work well in all the rooms and there was a giant active wasp nest close to a fun chair swing on a 2nd floor patio which we didnt see until our 2 year old granddaughter was in the chair. The property should be checked for dangers like that.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this feedback; we really appreciate it. You've highlighted some important points we're going to address right away. The induction stovetop can be tricky if you are not used to it, but it works great! We're conducting a thorough safety inspection, including that patio area, and will remove any nests immediately.

Firefly is hands-down one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in Austin. The house has such a cool, calming vibe—beautifully decorated but still super comfortable. We felt right at home the second we walked in.The outdoor spaces are everything. We started our mornings with coffee in the courtyard and ended our nights under the stars in the backyard lounge—it honestly felt like our own little garden retreat. And the location? Couldn’t be better. Quiet and tucked away, but just a quick drive to downtown and all the fun spots. If you’re coming to Austin, you’ll definitely want to stay here—we’re already planning our next trip back!
