Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away!

Really our only complaint is about the pool. It is advertised as a heated pool, which was a big reason we wanted to rent this house, however when we called to see about having the pool heater turned on we were told it’s broken. So we really didn’t get to enjoy the pool.

I really do apologize for the pool heater issue, honestly we were not aware , we have changed t property description to note that the heater does not work.

Check-in was easy and quick. The accommodations were as pictured. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was nice and able to make meals with ease. The pool was not heated and doors surrounding the pool area were not able to be locked. A vacuum was left in the pool and did not run for the entirety of the stay. The grill in the pool area was nice and used frequently during our stay. The bedding and sheets looked very clean, but had an unpleasant odor and were quite scratchy and rough. The washing machine and dryer were nice to have available. Mini bar soaps were provided, similar to what you find in a hotel, but we ended up buying hand soap pumps for the bathrooms and kitchen. Doormats were not provided at either entrance and would have been nice to wipe feet. We came on a rainy day and water was tracked in and made for slipping hazards. The view from the back of the house was mixed and we were right behind two apartment type complexes, easily seeing into people's windows. We were scolded by a neighbor as she implied we were playing outside too loudly. The walk to the beach was easy and accessible.

We will take a look at the things you mentions, scratchy sheets and get some door mats, at the home . There isn't much we can do about the the view or neighbors but we appreciate you mentioning this. Were these issues the only reason for the 6 out of 10 rating. Since these are beyond our control would you consider changing your review to just rate us on the home? Thanks you again !
