10 minutes from Dunnville 15 minutes from Port Colbourne. Beautiful views of the Mohawk Bay Lighthouse. Stairs down to beach will be pulled up at the end of September but depends on the weather forecast. Stairs installed at the end of April.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at this property. A beautiful, clean cottage nestled on the shores of Lake Erie. Great swimming (at this time of year) and several lovely areas to relax - deck, beach and grassy area. Beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. Being able to take our dog was a huge plus for us too. We loved being close to Hippos, local farms, the airplane museum, mini-putt and conservation areas too. Thank you Lisa for being a great host!

We loved the old world charm and spectacular views from the cottage. Beach time with our dog and fires under the stars were highlights of this well-appointed cottage stay. A lovely neighborhood too. We will be back in a heart beat!

My daughter and grand baby and I spent one week in mid- Sept at this lovely, wee yellow cottage in Lowbanks on Lake Erie. Its a lovely property! The deck and backyard are a highlight! There is a long set of stairs down to the beach but it's a great little sandy beach, great for swimming and other water sports. The cottage is exactly as it appears in the vrbo photos. The cottage was clean and had nice bed linens. We would highly recommend this property if you ever find yourself near Dunnville in southern Ontario.

We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary stay. The view is amazing. Local wineries were great. We especially enjoyed Fielding Estate. If you get the chance to go ask for Emma she is very knowledgeable about the wine. Lisa and Doug were lovely hosts.

Lisa and her husband were extremely welcoming. The cottage’s close proximity to my family allowed us to enjoy time together over the holidays while still having our own space. We were also treated to a spectacular windstorm that whipped the lake into a frenzy; an unforgettable display of nature.

Wonderful cottage! It was clean as a whistle, set up very nicely with lots of thoughtful details, and not cluttered at all. The deck, with choices of furniture for different times of day/wind conditions, etc., was the favourite hangout spot for us. The beach is beautiful, and the additional deck halfway up the cliff is a super spot for a morning coffee. We had a perfect few days with BBQ, ice cream, s'mores and great nights' sleeps. We would not hesitate to return.

Henry started his complaints before arrival, reviewing our welcome book with forensic detail looking for errors and upon arrival continued complaining, for which we responding timely and with solutions, including a new bbq within a day. These complaints continued until we had to ask the guests to leave after 5 days. I would highly recommend to other owners to not rent to Henry. He was looking for a free trip and obtained his goal.

The views and sunsets are spectacular and it doesn’t hurt not having to drive the 400 highways to get here! All backroads.

What makes this property unique

This is our family cottage which we often use. We wanted to share the experience with others. There is nothing better than sitting and enjoying a fire with the lake in the background. Pure heaven!
