This quiet, rural cottage offers a peaceful and relaxing escape, ideal for short getaways or longer holidays.

The cottage has 1 master bedroom (double bed) and a smaller second bedroom, comfortably accommodating up to 3 guests. It features a cosy woodburner, a well-equipped full kitchen with bench hobs, wall oven, microwave, jug and fridge, and a bathroom with a large shower and supporting handrail.

Set on a small working farm, guests are welcome to enjoy the children’s playground and a short bush walk. Farm life is part of the experience, with cows, chickens and a few sheep nearby. The driveway is lined with majestic oak, elm, hickory and other trees over 100 years old, attracting abundant native birdlife including kōrero, morepork, tūī and fantails.

From its elevated position, the cottage overlooks the valley floor below, offering a view of the neighbouring dairy farm and rising toward an impressive mountain range beyond.

This cottage is ideal for guests seeking rest, scenery and a slower pace of life.

    We’ve now organised a WiFi connection for the cottage. Being in a rural area, it isn’t a high-speed service, but guests are able to use it for everyday needs like checking emails, browsing and messaging.
