This was a last minute work booking and the communication from the host was excellent. The house is a wonderful old bungalow with great character and eclectic interior that just makes you feel at home. The property was immaculate and has everything you could possibly want at hand. The hosts were terrific and we were warmly welcomed. If your looking for character and the comforts of home, this is a great choice.

A unique home

The owner was turning the heaters on for us when we arrived, and showed us through the property. It was a lovely welcome. Tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam and eggs were provided, and a bowl of fruit was on the dining table.

Beautiful Home

We only had two nights here but it was such a great break. The house is gorgeous and cosy and the street is divine!The hosts were lovely to deal with and we would love to return.Great set up for a family.

Well provided for

This is a lovely property and we were very well provided for by the hosts. Great location. House has all you need to look after yourself while away from home. My only criticism is that it wasn’t disclosed up front that the owners live on the property. That was a negative for me and my family and we didn’t find out until the hosts rang on the Saturday prior to our stay to confirm my booking. They said they only had it as a tentative booking, despite full payment having been made? Bookabach have ads on TV at the moment making a point about the fact that you have the property to yourself and don’t have to share with owner.

Weekend with the grandkids

Host was great and communication and instructions excellent. House was over filled with collections and random items. Couches were extremely uncomfortable. Kitchen facilities were excellent with loads of extras.

An inviting snd idyllic family home.

Great communication from our hosts, both before we arrived and during our stay. Super comfortable, warm and inviting home, very central to most amenities in Palmerston North. Bella annd Dean ensured we had everything we needed for the week. The home was well stocked, including the kitchen, the rooms and also the entertainment options, with books and games for a rainy day. Highly recommended if you’re after a relaxing stay away from home. :-) Thank you.

DAYBREAKER RALLY STAY

Our rally team used as a base for four days, very comfortable and handy to everything. plenty of room for all our cars and trailer. one of the team said it was like staying at Nannas - but in a nice way. only negative, and it is a small one, the couches could do with a bit of a refresh.
