This property was beyond beautiful. It was a perfect place to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Having an interior design background, we really appreciated the tastefulness of this property. We loved the classy modern decor and didn’t feel like we were in a mountain cabin gift shop like so many other places we’ve stayed. The space was great and we spent many hours playing games at the large table, eating meals together, and enjoying time on the beautiful deck. To our surprise, we discovered we absolutely loved shuffleboard and ping-pong. Even my folks who are around 80 thoroughly enjoyed shuffle board. We struggled getting into the house as we had the wrong code, but after texting the property manager, we were eventually able to get in. The AC was also not working on the main level. It was frustrating, not having that level cool for the first portion of our trip, but again the property manager did send people out immediately. We understand things happen, and we appreciated the quick response to solving those issues, but it would have been nice to receive a sorry about that or some sort of compensation which we did not. Again, the fast communication was definitely appreciated.

Hi Deana, Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re honored that you chose this beautiful home to celebrate such a special milestone—your parents’ 60th wedding anniversary is truly something to celebrate. We’re so glad the home’s modern design, spacious layout, deck, and amenities helped create a memorable gathering for your family. It’s wonderful to hear that everyone enjoyed the game areas, especially shuffleboard and ping-pong. We love hearing when guests of all ages can come together and enjoy quality time in the home. We apologize for the inconvenience with the access code and the A/C issue during your stay. We understand how frustrating it can be when unexpected issues arise, especially during a special celebration. We appreciate your patience and are glad our team was able to respond quickly and work toward resolving the concerns. Thank you again for your kind words and feedback. We truly appreciate you choosing Big Bear Cool Cabins and hope to welcome your family back for another memorable mountain getaway in the future!
