Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The neighbors are welcoming and friendly. The unique historic neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). The Point is home to a few wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars.

The space
Natural light pours through the windows of this thoughtfully arranged duplex, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The open layout flows easily between the living area, kitchen, and dining space, giving groups of up to four room to spread out and settle in comfortably.

Sleeping arrangements
The queen bedroom offers a restful retreat with fresh linens and room-darkening shades. The second bedroom features twin beds - ideal for friends or family traveling together. Extra pillows and blankets are on hand, and ample clothing storage is available through the closet and dresser.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook at home: refrigerator, freezer, Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, and baking sheet. Cooking basics including pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper are stocked, along with dishes and silverware. Pull up a chair at the dining table for a meal in, or grab your morning coffee before catching the ferry into the city.

Living & entertainment
The living area centers on a 55-inch HDTV with Chromecast, Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. Spin records on the record player, browse the selection of books, or settle into the dedicated workspace with a desk and office chair when you need to get something done. Fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected throughout your stay.

Bathroom & laundry
The bathroom features a tub/shower combo with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays or festival weekends, along with an iron and cleaning products.

Comfort & safety
Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep things comfortable year-round. The property is equipped with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and an exterior security camera at the entry door.

Getting around
The $2 ferry puts you minutes from the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and Frenchmen Street jazz clubs. Local cafés, bars, and Barracuda tacos are steps away. Free street parking is available for guests arriving by car. Self check-in via smart lock and luggage drop-off make arrival and departure flexible on your schedule.
