The host is a very good communicator, and instructions on how to get there, where to park, etc. were timely and clear. When I had to adjust the timing, he was prompt and helpful. The location is quite good, depending on what your trip plans are. There is a bus stop right at the gate, when returning from downtown Vancouver, and the stop to downtown, is about half a block, across the street. I didn't have time to venture directly around the area, so can't say anything about that. The unit is quiet and comfortable, and felt very safe. There is alot of traffic on the road, (which makes for the good bus route!) but the unit itself, is quiet. We found parking easily on a side street, repeatedly, and that is a good sign!
