Time and Tide at the Bach - Great Family Getaway.
Tide and Time at the Bach is a place where you can slow down and enjoy the simple things.
This sunny 3-bedroom getaway is just a short stroll from the sea and surrounded by natural beauty with elevated views out the harbour and across towards Ruakaka/Waipu.
Enjoy a cuppa on the deck, then set out to explore - paddle a kayak across the bay, wander the coastal tracks, climb Mount Manaia for breathtaking views, or head 10 minutes down the road to Ocean Beach for sand and surf. Then finish the day with a BBQ and time to reflect on the special memories made.
OUR SPACE
There is plenty of room to park a boat or jet ski with beach launching just a few minutes around the road. Whangarei Harbour is a great place for all water pursuits.
Wander down the private driveway (walking access only) to enjoy a swim, snorkel, kayak or paddleboard. In the evening you can relax and enjoy the sunset.
We offer 3 bedrooms with sleeping for 8 people. The Master Bedroom is upstairs with a Queen bed and there are 2 bedrooms downstairs both with 1 Queen bed and a Single bed in each.
All linen and bath towels are supplied. There is a gate at the top of the stairs which can be closed to make it secure for small children.
We have an open plan lounge, and kitchen both with ranch sliders to allow maximum light and airflow, while the lounge ranch slider opens onto a sun-drenched deck with gas BBQ and BBQ table, this deck is also a secure area for kids to enjoy.
Essential items are also supplied including, Tea, Coffee, Sugar and Hot Chocolate and some basic pantry essentials. Also, basic bathroom necessities toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner.
EXPLORING WHANGAREI HEADS
There are 2 kayaks and paddleboards for you to enjoy or bring your snorkeling gear with a marine reserve just around the point to explore.
There is also a number of beautiful reserves and walks, along with some amazing beaches where you can enjoy a relaxing swim or surf the waves at Ocean Beach. (10min Drive)
Our beautiful Whangarei Harbour is an ideal place to explore whether by foot or boat there is always something to see/do or a fish to be caught.
We hope you and your family/friends enjoy it as much as we do.
