At your two-story home, screened porches on each level offer the perfect spot to experience the charm of the shady majestic oaks and bask in the warm breezes that flow through the community.

Inside, ample natural light and pine floors create a warm and welcoming vibe. A thoughtful design has the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and the living areas upstairs - complete with a fully equipped kitchen.

Known for scalloping in the summer and fresh and saltwater fishing and hunting year-round, Steinhatchee offers outdoor adventures in every season. Enjoy canoeing and kayaking, BYOB (bring your own boat), or rent one at a local marina!

Quiet, nice community. Townhouse was immaculate and well appointed. Community amenities are great. Was sent totally wrong check in info by Vacasa but local contact responded instantly with correct info.

Vanilla Cottage was great!

Really enjoyed our stay at Vanilla Cottage. It was perfect for my husband and I to stay a few days in Steinhatchee to go scalloping. The unit was clean and comfortable and the Steinhatchee Landing neighborhood was a great choice. The communication from the property manager was very good.

Vanilla Cottage

I had such high hopes for Cottage however was very disappointed. Filthy bathroom, cockroaches, rotten entry steps, lockbox didn’t work, door was unlocked and key on bed. Bed is worn out, roll to the middle, sofa is only seating in living room furniture and it is so worn out the front support hits your legs, not cushions. Only dining table is an outside table and so filthy I couldn’t get it clean. I bought a table cloth just to cover it. Some dishes in kitchen were dirty. I spend two days of my vacation purchasing cleaning supplies and cleaning. Washing machine is duct taped together. I borrowed bed linens from a family member so I knew I was sleeping on clean linens. Very very disappointing for the price we paid. Would not recommend without major improvements.
