We just spent 4 nights here. We had a wonderful time. We brought 2 mini boats for the kids, swam in the lake, made smores by the fire. Very quiet. We hope to come back next summer.

We enjoyed this beautiful cottage on the lake, it is quiet and the views are spectacular. The cottage was stocked with essentials and very clean. During our stay we hiked to several waterfalls and enjoyed the many wineries and quaint towns. Although this side of the lake is more remote, the journey to some of the larger towns and state parks can be 30-40 minutes but the scenery along the way is beautiful.

The host was very responsive! It’s a very cute little house right on the lake which was nice! Not sure if we were the first guests of the summer but it certainly needed a good dusting/cleaning especially the screened in porch. There were a lot of spiders and cobwebs.

Being right on the lake, that outdoor space can attract dust, spiders, and cobwebs quickly, even shortly after cleaning, since it's so exposed to the elements. We want every guest to feel good about the space from the moment they arrive, and we appreciate you letting us know so we can keep an eye on it. Unexpected

Location was as stated. Waterfront. Major cleaning issue with the property. Power washing was requested and they did come on the 2nd day for the enclosed porch. . Steps into the water were in disrepair. Unsafe for all, missing steps. Screens and doors stuck in place.

I’ll start with the good - Excellent location for views, proximity to the lake for canoeing etc. the inside living area, while clean, was small. I would suggest no more than 4 individuals staying at the location. The property needs major maintenance attention. We called the host immediately as to the unacceptable cleanliness of the enclosed patio/porch. They did respond with a power wash of the enclosed porch the next day. As this was 50% of the living space, it was desperately needed. Steps to the lake were in major disrepair and dangerous to individuals trying to access swimming etc. General property disrepair.

First before arrival I had to message the host for the check in code.When we arrived at property, It appears as though it is not taken care of. Weeds all over the outdoor area where there is a firepit. The back screen was hanging out of the back door.The inside of the house is absolutely disgusting. It smells of mold very strongly. The tooth brush holder in the bathroom was covered in mold. The AC units in the 2 bedrooms were so disgusting ! The floors were filthy. The sheets were stained on the beds. The list goes on! I hope this review helps somebody. I wouldnt want anyone else feeling the way we did for what we spent to rent the place for a quick getaway. Total mistake ! The dock also seems very unsafe and not well maintained!

Lovely place!

We had a wonderful time here. The view from the house is just beautiful. The rental company was very responsive and helpful to any question that came up. The shower water pressure was inconsistent but it wasnt a big problem for us. We brought our own kayaks and paddleboards and spent hours each day on the lake. We would definitely come back here.

We loved how close to the water we were! It was underneath us while sitting on the deck or in the screened in porch! The bedrooms, kitchen, and living room were nicely cleaned. We had some cold weather and the heaters were very attractive and worked quickly and easily. I gave a 4 instead of a 5 because I had to spend about 20-30 minutes cleaning all the spider webs off the deck railings and the inside and outside of the screened in porch. I didn't have the energy or inclination to do the outside table, chairs and sitting area. My guess is that we were first guests of the season, obviously still not acceptable. I totally should have contacted the onsite manager/cleaning company right away, but we were there for such a short stay I did not want to start on a bad foot. WE had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this place (just double check that spider webs cleaned off and firepit area swept and ready for use)
