A family bach on a large section for family and friend groups to enjoy sports and bbqs. 10 beds and loads of space to spread out.

Close walk to the estuary, world class skate/scooter park, children's playgrounds, golf clubs, bowling club, large deck for entertaining, BBQ.

Mangawhai Heads has heaps to offer, dining out, fishing & diving, surfing, safe swimming in the nearby estuary plus a world-famous surf beach.

Furnishings are functional and clean. Prime location at the Mangawhai Heads. Some bedding and linen available but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Lots of room for cars and boats.

We had an awesome time staying in this lovely homely house. There was plenty of room for all of us and Graham was so lovely welcoming us to his home. A great price for a large group to stay and close to everything we needed. Thank you again.

Great for what we were looking for - a Matariki weekend stay for a large extended family. Good value for a one bathroom, two toilet property. Excellent communication with the host. We had every heater we could find turned on but as our host had advised us that there were plenty of extra duvets and blankets for warmth we were nice and snug on the coldest night of the year so far.

Great location! Skate park with a playground is only 10 min walk away. Our kids really enjoyed going there every day. 7 min drive to Mangawhai heads beach and cliff walk. Shops are 2-5 min drive only. Very convenient. Property has plenty of space, flat section, lovely garden. Linen and towels provided. Friendly and welcoming owner Graham, who was happy to share some great fishing spots and attractions around. 3 bedrooms downstairs are a great place for kids sleeping/playing zone.We really enjoyed our Easter holidays!

Graham was a perfect and attentive host. From booking to check in he was helpful and friendly. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy his house and what Mangawhai had to offer. It was easy to communicate with him whenever we needed to. The house is a quintessential kiwi Bach, fuss free, comfortable with everything you need and nothing more so you don’t have to worry about too much while you’re away. The Bach was previously a family home for 30 years and you get the family homely vibe there. Perfect place for a couple of family groups together. Ample space and play areas for children and adults alike.

Great location, cool old bach and Graham is super lovely. Was perfect for our group of 8. Cosy and warm, very comfortable place to stay.
