Welcome to Colony Inn Unit 05, your relaxing coastal retreat on stunning Sanibel Island! Professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals, this inviting getaway is nestled within the charming Colony Inn community, just a short stroll from the beautiful Gulf beaches. Spend your days exploring Sanibel's famous shelling beaches, scenic bike trails, local restaurants, and quaint island shops, all while enjoying the peaceful tropical surroundings that make this destination so special.

Step inside to discover a bright and airy space designed for comfort and relaxation. The spacious living area offers the perfect setting to unwind after a day at the beach, with comfortable seating ideal for relaxing evenings, gathering with loved ones, or simply soaking in the laid-back island atmosphere. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything needed to prepare your favorite meals and vacation treats with ease.

The primary bedroom serves as a peaceful retreat featuring a plush king-size bed, creating the perfect place to rest and recharge after sunny days spent exploring the island.

Whether you're watching breathtaking Gulf sunsets, collecting seashells along the shore, or enjoying the slower pace of island life, Colony Inn Unit 05 is the perfect place to create unforgettable Sanibel Island memories.

House Rule: No smoking. No burning candles inside of lodging. No parties. No Pets.

Laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor of both buildings for guest use.

​​​​​​​Please Note : We're continuing our efforts to maintain and improve the property with enhancements taking place at Building 2 from May 4th through end of June 2026. During this time Building 2 is closed. Work will be conducted Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to approximately 3:30 PM.

Guests in Building 1 and around the pool area should experience minimal impact, though occasional daytime renovation noise may be heard. For safety, some areas of the grounds may be temporarily restricted while work is underway.

We appreciate your understanding as we make these improvements and look forward to welcoming you!

Wonderful stay with my daughter

Condo was beautiful and the decor was perfect and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Such a short walk to the beach and the beach was not busy at all. The pool was nice and the staff was very helpful when I had questions. I would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful location very close to beach. The tile work in kitchen and bathroom were great for beach area. Had everything you needed for making meals. Very clean. Nice screened in porch. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Easy check in and check out. Had a great stay!

We would have loved to have a few large tumblers for beverages. We rented bikes but initially thought by the listing they we available on site with the rental. Loved getting the umbrella and chairs. Property was in a location we enjoyed and the beach was great too.
