Nestled in the Golden Rectangle, this adorable 792 sf, 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage offers a tranquil coastal retreat just steps from Carmel Beach. With its inviting garden and quintessential Carmel architecture, this home blends comfort and style in a serene setting.
The cottage’s prime location allows for easy access to Carmel’s famous beach, art galleries, restaurants, and boutique shops, while still offering a private sanctuary to unwind. This seaside cottage embodies the essence of Carmel living!

Living Space
Ascend one flight of stone stairs to the front porch and step inside to a delightful, cozy living room filled with natural light. The space is complemented by beautiful artwork and a wood burning fireplace with stone surround, creating an inviting ambiance perfect for relaxing in conversation, reading or entertaining.
Adjacent to the kitchen and living room is a family room with a TV and comfortable seating for 4. The family room has direct access to the lower/main level bathroom.

Kitchen and Dining
The thoughtful layout flows effortlessly into a well-appointed kitchen with gas range, ample counter space, and a charming dining nook with seating for 4. Vaulted gray-washed ceilings and vintage tile countertops and backsplash add to the charm.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Both bedrooms are well appointed and tastefully decorated.
Upstairs:
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king bed, private balcony and an en suite bathroom with a standing shower.
Downstairs:
Bedroom #2 is five steps down from the family room and has a queen bed, two arm chairs and direct access to the back yard. It is also home to the stacked washer and dryer. Please note that access to the back yard is through this bedroom.
The full bathroom is accessed directly from the family room and has a shower-over-tub combination.

Outside
Interior access to the back yard is through Bedroom #2. Step outside to the backyard, perfect for relaxing in wooden Adirondack chairs while enjoying the fire pit and listening to the waves in the distance.

Stacked washer and dryer are located inside Bedroom #2.

Dedicated off-street parking for one vehicle is available in the driveway. Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis and can be limited due to the home's proximity to the beach and downtown.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
