The whole complex was beautiful and spacious. We had 14 people and we had plenty of space to accommodate all of us. The house was well stocked and the artwork and decor of the house really added to the appeal of the place. The host was very accommodating and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. We loved this place so much that we plan to come back in the summer.

Our group of 14 had a wonderful time at this location in Dripping Springs. The host was available on our check-in and check-out days to answer questions. That alone was such a relief to know how quick and responsive they were. The home itself is very nice and equipped with all amenities you would need for a weekend stay. I would definitely book this home again for a future visit.

Family Getaway Trip

We had sisters, bros-in-law, babies and grownups. There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room and tons of fun hanging out. The outdoor space is just relaxing and has AMAZING views!

We stayed at House of The Rising Sun in Dripping Springs with our family, and it was the perfect fit for all ages.With teenagers, little ones, and adults, the layout gave everyone space while still allowing us to gather comfortably. The casita added privacy, and the separate game room kept everyone entertained. The home is warm and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of room to spread out.We especially loved the outdoor space. The pool, hot tub, fire pit, and covered dining area made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. The property feels peaceful and private, which made the whole experience even better.Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals was also amazing to work with. They were very responsive, helpful, and made us feel welcome from start to finish.A great spot for families. We would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful property and location. Felt secluded and quiet, but a short drive from Austin makes other activities accessible. You will likely want a car to get here (Uber drives there but it’s pricey). The property is nicely furnished and accessorized. We found most everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and serve for 10 easily. Large island is nice for food preparation (although a sink on the island would be a small upgrade I’d consider next time the place is refurbished). We had family photos taken and the property provides several lovely backdrops for photos—large trees, plants, vistas. Relaxing pool and outside entertaining area was perfect for our family gathering ages 3-70. There are some steps so might be a little challenging for mobility impaired but the main house primary amenities (family room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms) and the deck were all on the same level. Because it was so nice, we didn’t venture out much-just relaxed and floated in the pool. It is a short drive to cafes in the area and in Dripping Springs (an Austin suburb) with all of Austin in reach within about 20-30 minutes. Airport is about 25 minutes away, with a little variation depending on time of day. Definitely preferred this to separate hotel rooms at a resort for our family to spend time together.

We had a great time on labor day vacation with family and friends . Great and fast responses on communications. Beautiful view, nice pool, plenty of rooms and spaces. Great location. Definitely we will be back for vacation again. Everyone in our family and friends group liked this location. Just wanted to say thank you for letting us to make a fantastic memory in here. We had an emergency on last day of stay reached out to the host and they extended our check-out after everything stabled (thank you) highly recommended

Amazing Home

We were looking for a beautiful home where we could relax and spend time together ans a family and this one was perfect! We cooked out, played games, read, watched movies, and had plenty of pool time. The only time we ventured out was to the grocery store. It was exactly what we wanted plus an amazing and tranquil view. Casita was equally as beautiful. What an amazing eye to detail this home has. I would highly recommend this home.

Fabulous house! Such a pretty pool with amazing views. We were a group of all adults (15, ages 22-62) celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms had everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and fast. An unexpected surprise was all of the cool art around the house. Definitely recommend this fun compound!

The house is absolutely beautiful and the pool was a dream to be in during the Texas heat. The outside tv was awesome and we played switch games on it several times! The kitchen was the perfect place for our group to grab food, cook together, and play mixologist. The Pool Haus (as we called it) was so cozy and perfect for our group. On the downside, there we're two broken items when we arrived- the trash drawer and the glass doors to the outside game/office room. These were not issues that affected our enjoyment, but were notable!
