Such a great place. While there are neighboring cabins all around, we never heard other people and could only see other cabins if we looked hard. The pictures didn’t do the view justice. You can see Cascade Lake from the balcony and the main windows. Hoping to stay there again.
We all enjoyed our stay. Very nice semi-isolated property with rustic cabin vibes, but very large! Plenty of room for all 6 of us, and the hot tub was nice. Deck surrounding the entire cabin was great! Birds singing and saw a deer strolling through one morning. Huge garage area. Only lack was no outdoor wood fire pit.
Our stay was awesome. The home was clean and well appointed. Our only complaint was the missing bunk beds, the listing made it seem like there were two sets
Fabulous property with plenty of privacy. The location was great being close to Tamarack village and the boat ramp as well. The whole family enjoyed the lake and the mountains. Great vacation
The pictures show you what you get. The cabin is big, open, and fairly private. It's comfortable and accommodating. My husband and older kids loved our stay.
Great property, very spacious, clean, and has plenty of beds. 4 miles from tamarack made it very convenient to get out and get some
skiing in during the day. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property to others 😀
We had a wonderful stay at Huckleberry Cabin over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. The cabin is beautiful with great views. The photos of the windows don’t do it justice. Very comfortable! We’d love to stay again!
We loved this property! Having four bedrooms and four bathrooms was so nice! It's a beautiful home and location and the deck is a wonderful place to enjoy the peacefulness. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace is a perfect touch. We would definitely go back!
My brother, sister and spouses wanted to get away with our elderly mom for a few days. Our parents took us up to the area numerous times growing up. It was such a special time with our mom! We all enjoyed the roominess of the cabin which is well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The deck is spectacular! We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin!!!
we had a wonderful time with family, sledding, snow moiling, snowshoeing, relaxing and playing games. enough space to be together as needed and spread out as needed. Highly recommended
This trip was a family vacation for 6 adults. We chose Huckleberry Lodge for its location to Tamarack Resort and its spacious interior us amenities.
Upon arrival I immediately noticed the extremely overgrown (knee-waist high growth of weeds that is the property. The listing photo shows a very clear “yard around the house. The overgrown weeds are so high you can barely access some entry points.
There is a very latge yellow stain in the closet of the master bedroom. The whole bathroom smells faintly of urine. The rental company was immediately contacted. They replied that they would pass my message on to their cleaning service.
The ice maker in the fridge was frozen up with a huge block of ice. No ice would dispense. We were able to remove it from the bottom of the ice container and ice could flow. The kitchen faucet drips non stop unless you maneuver it to just the right position. The propane tank for the grill was empty. We had to change it. The board games are missing so many pieces they are not playable. The “fire pit” is actually just a gas fire table. It is stated in the listing to bring firewood (despite there being a shed full) for use in the “fire pit “ and fireplace. None if that was needed.
Lastly- the house is infested with mice. We saw mice in the kitchen on 2 occasions. Frost Cabins was notified immediately and responded that they would call someone. Mouse droppings were found in beds, on tables, all over the great room floor and all over the deck.
Great house for a group of eight adults. Good parking for trucks and trailers. Lots of room for seating, dining, and crafts. Each bedroom had a separate bathroom, which was really convenient. Only complaint was that fourth bedroom has child-size twin bunks--not appropriate for a couple. Property photos show a queen/full bunk bed. Not the case.. Kitchen was well equipped and had a gas stove. Would definitely rent again, but will bring an air mattress for the "kid's" bedroom.
