This is a great choice if you genuinely love camping and a rustic outdoor experience. It is located in a neighbourhood rather than being off-grid, but the area around the cabin is private.One thing that would make a big difference would be adding a shower. Although there is shared lake access, we found it awkward to use for washing or even a quick dip.During our stay, we got passes to the YMCA so we could shower, but ultimately decided to cut our stay short and head home a day early. We go camping but always at camp sites with showers, so we found this harder than glamping.Leaving a 5 star review, as overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

Such a cute place to stay at! The cabin was very clean, and the screened in area was roomy and we spent a lot of time here. The manual was super helpful. The out house wasn't gross, clean, and no unpleasant smells, even if used. The only thing to note is that the cabin is right on lake muskoka, Which can be a busy lake. You will hear some party's, a lot of boats going by, and an occasional steam boat horn.
