Unwinding in style, Madison is the perfect base for an enjoyable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, three balconies and artfully decorated, it represents the city's charm and history. Indulge in relaxation after a day of shopping along the renowned Flinders Lane from the comfort of this modern and luminous penthouse. Located in a charming Art Deco building, this 11th-floor, two-story apartment boasts two double bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms. 2 comfortable queen beds and 1 bathroom upstairs, large living/dining area and well stocked kitchen and powder room downstairs. Just a short stroll away from Melbourne's finest bars and eateries, you will be near all of the city's stadiums and sports arenas. 6 min walk to Flinders Station, 13 min walk to the Arts Centre, Hamer Hall and National Gallery of Victoria. 9 min walk to ACMI, 22 min walk to Marvel Stadium. Public transport options are abundant, with free trams, walking routes, and city bike shares readily accessible. Enjoy the added comforts and conveniences of this exceptional penthouse. It is lovely to relax on the balcony with a glass of wine and catch up after a long day of walking around the city. Fast Wi-Fi and fully stocked chef's kitchen. Complimentary bottle of wine. LG wash tower (2025). Guests have access to the entire penthouse including a small car space (see below). Your host Michael is available via message or phone 24/7. CAR PARKNG: PLEASE NOTE THAT CAR PARK ON SITE IS TIGHT AND ONLY SUITABLE FOR A SMALL CAR, less than 4.5m in length - no large SUVs. There are loads of trams and train options at your door step. INCLUSIVE: As hosts, we welcome all visitors. Overseas guests, people with disabilities, families, and LGBTQI+ friendly. EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS: May be possible however we do recommend to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS: May be possible depending on bookings and housekeeping schedules. Please reach out at least one day before check out. STARTER SUPPLIES: We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking and we would be grateful for you to replace when used up. LINEN: We supply high quality linen and bath towels for your stay. LONG STAYS : All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable. CHECK OUT: We kindly ask that you stack the dishwasher, put the rubbish out and place used towels in the washing machine. Our cleaners will do the rest. AGE REQUIREMENT: We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.

I travel often, both for family reasons and out of genuine love of being somewhere unfamiliar — wandering a European Christmas market in December, finding a cool café in Berlin, or simply exploring a new city or countryside her in Australia. That habit of being a guest myself, is honestly the best training I could have asked for as a host. I know what a five-star stay actually feels like from the inside, and I know exactly which small details turn a "fine" stay into one that is remembered and talked about.
Outside of hosting, I'm a credentialed coach and career counsellor. Everything I do draws on the same skill: genuinely listening to others needs and making them feel comfortable. I bring that to hosting too.
Good hospitality, to me, isn't about ticking boxes on a checklist — it's about anticipating, being responsive and making sure guests feel genuinely respected and welcome.

Madison is my happy place. Queen Street sits right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, and that location was a deliberate choice — I wanted guests to have the whole city immediately within reach, to feel like they're actually in Melbourne, not on its outskirts.
This part of the city blends old-world character with modern energy. You're surrounded by Melbourne's famous laneway culture — hidden cafés, small-batch coffee roasters, and some of the best brunch spots in the country. Bourke Street Mall, the Queen Victoria Market (one of the oldest and largest open-air markets in the Southern Hemisphere), and the iconic Flinders Street Station.
If you're someone who loves to explore a city on foot, discovering something new around every corner, this location was built for exactly that kind of traveller.
For visitors coming from the US in particular, Melbourne's CBD offers something genuinely different from a typical American downtown: a dense, walkable grid filled with heritage architecture sitting right alongside sleek modern towers, all serviced by an iconic tram network that's free to use within the city centre. The balance is deliberate — I wanted guests to enjoy real character without sacrificing any of the practical comfort.
