Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park.
Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!
Guest Access:
Our condos are keyless locks, you will have a personalized door code made for you. Please follow the arrival instructions sent to you the door code will be in your envelope.
The Neighborhood:
We think our unique cedar forest is lovely. We are close to Whitefish and the Whitefish Mountain Ski and Summer Resort.
Other Things to Note:
The condo furnishes each reservation with a starter set of consumables that includes sample size shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, sponges for dishes, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, kitchen and bathroom towels. Once this starter set is exhausted, it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase additional provisions.
Each condo is supplied with 2 pool cards for easy access to the indoor facilities

For emergencies call the number on the back of the map that you were provided. For non-emergencies call the office when it opens.

Welcome to Ptarmigan Village. we are a private HOA community located on 52 forested acres of land on big mountain. water and sewer are provided for and managed on site. The amenities include an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a hot tub, and wet sauna. Elmer’s pond is a small pond we stock with fish every summer for the kiddos to practice their angler skills. There are hiking trails throughout the village as well as two tennis/pickleball courts. our owners and guests also have private access to beachfront and dock on whitefish lake.
