The Space:

If you are looking for something a little bit special, then Kahu Tides is just for you. This stunning waterways property offers modern luxury, spacious living and a private jetty with power, making it the perfect escape for families, couples or boating enthusiasts. Located just a 7–10 minute walk from town, you can easily enjoy the local cafés, shops and beach while still relaxing in a peaceful waterfront setting. Please note there may be an additional charge to use the jetty during the off-season.



The beautiful main bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a king bed, walk-in wardrobe and a stunning ensuite. Large doors open directly onto the deck, allowing you to wake up to peaceful water views each morning. There is also a queen bedroom with its own ensuite, another queen bedroom, and a fourth bedroom with a double bed and single bed, making the layout ideal for families or groups. The main bathroom features a gorgeous freestanding bath, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day at the beach, and all bathrooms include heated towel rails and underfloor heating for added comfort.



The spacious open-plan living areas are stylish and welcoming, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and seamless access to the large sunny deck and jetty. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances including gas hobs, gas hot water, dishwasher, double-door fridge and a scullery, while the breakfast bar provides additional seating for casual dining. Flowing through to the dining area and outdoor spaces, the home offers fantastic indoor-outdoor living. A heat pump keeps the home comfortable year-round.



Outside, the large deck is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Fire up the BBQ, enjoy alfresco meals around the outdoor table or sit back with afternoon drinks as you watch the boats glide by on the waterways.



Kahu Tides is also pet friendly, however we ask that pets are kept off all furniture and beds, and that all pet waste is cleaned up and disposed of properly during your stay. Please note the section is not fully fenced, so pets will need to be supervised at all times.



A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available and located in the garage for your convenience.

The Neighborhood:

Whitianga is a popular holiday destination located on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is the gateway to some amazing beaches and scenery. Wandering the shops is a good start and if you get a bit peckish head to one of many delightful eateries whether it's a pie and donut, or a sit-down lunch with a cold beverage. There are plenty of options. There is plenty to do for the kids as well with a bike park, movies, an awesome skate park and kids' playground, and of course, the Mercury Bay Museum. For adults, a trip to the Lost Springs Thermal Spa and Hot Pools is a great way to spend a couple of hours relaxing in tropical surroundings. If you make your way to the wharf you can catch the passenger ferry to Ferry Landing & take a walk over to Front Beach. Tour boats also leave from the wharf which can show you around the area and stop close to Cathedral Cove within the Marine Reserve, watch the fish, go for a snorkel, or take a cave tour. If fishing is your idea of a good time, there are plenty of Charters that can take you out. Or you could take a drive out to Hahei. From here you can take the 40-minute walk to world-renowned Cathedral Cove, or you can head to the beach where there is a water taxi that can take you. Hot Water Beach is not to be missed. At low tide dig a hole and you will have your own hot pool! Spades can be hired from the local store.

Pets are not allowed on the furniture or the beds. Please clean up your pet's waste before you leave.
