Exceptional stay from start to finish! The property was immaculately clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped. We loved spending time in the hot tub and relaxing in such a peaceful setting. This was the best place we have ever stayed. Peaceful, restful and so many activities. The host was right on top of answering questions or just making sure our stay was enjoyable. All the extra touches that were there were so helpful, I will definitely come again if given the chance.

The cabin was great. All the beds were so comfy. The back deck and bedroom balcony was amazing. We rode utv in the woods and loved it. Just the relaxation we needed

So true that JamesRiverCabin property is as listed: “unique, modern and secluded” and we would like to add how purposeful all the details for your guests to have a successful stay are! For example: the notebook with all directions, ideas, the cabin’s beginnings; the wonderful back deck with outdoor seating/table to eat there and outside tv (so we don’t miss MLB playoffs, lol); bird feeder right outside the dining room window to watch all sorts of birds/critters; abundant soft couch throws; a bunk room our grands would love…to just name a few! Super easy and timely communication with owners, specifically Rachel. What a wonderful cabin!

Absolutely beautiful property. Great for kids, families and couples. We got to relax and explore the beautiful wooded area and my husband caught fish in the river. Bonus joy from a beautiful German Shepherd visitor who lives on the property. Tons of wildlife including deer and a wide range of birds.

This is a beautiful property! The house had everything we needed and then some. We had a great time relaxing in the river and spending quality family time together. We can’t wait to come back!

This cabin exceeded expectations! It is clean and well-equipped for many activities, both inside and outside. We drove all the UTV trails, soaked in the hot tub, bird watched, played some family games (indoors and outdoors), kayaked and skipped rocks on the river! The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay! The host was very kind, accommodating, & had quick replies. The home is BEAUTIFUL, clean, and set up perfectly for a family. We really appreciated the pack&play, kids plates, & baby gate. The back deck was one of our favorite places to hangout and enjoy the weather while my dad watched his tv shows. The back deck has a gate as well which was very helpful. My mom loved the outdoor shower & my older daughter loved the giant tub upstairs. The entire cabin has a nice flow for people to spend time together along with gorgeous pictures & stained glass windows. We ALL LOVED the bird feeder outside the dining window to watch the birds while we ate. It was SO helpful and wonderful having the UTV to ride down to the river for swimming & kayaking. One of our favorites! They also provided fun floating tubes and a paddle board! They have special touches like life jackets, s’mores supplies provided, lawn games; even a play-set with swings & a slide for our girls. They even set out figurines on the UTV trail to discover for a scavenger hunt. The area is gorgeous and close to Strafford and Springfield for other activities. Checkout was super easy. I don’t have enough space to type out & express how wonderful this place is! So much beauty, so many activities, & fantastic hosts. We plan on coming back again!!!

This cabin was absolutely amazing. Quiet and peaceful, we stayed with our best friends from out of state and we never left the cabin because it was that great. Would recommend 12/10.

Beautiful cabin and property. Luxurious cabin while also being on the river, you’re able to take the side by side down and swim! We enjoyed the hot tub, covered deck and fire pit as well. Would absolutely stay here again. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this rental.

We loved our stay at the James River Cabin. We loved how modern and rustic the cabin was. Everything was very clean, and we loved how homey it was. The host definitely puts in time and effort to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Stay

My girlfriend and I decided to plan a relaxing getaway after the holidays. This property was perfect! The cabin was beautiful and we can't wait to plan another trip. The property owners were very quick to respond and answer any questions we had.
