The host were very accommodating! Very responsive to text and calls. If ever in the area, would definitely book again.Booked for some guys in a fishing tournament. They were thrilled with the house. They said they had plenty of room for their boats.

Fishing Trip Stay

This property was perfect for our stay. Close to Waddington boat ramp and spacious parking. The home was much larger feeling inside than expectations. Greg the host was a great communicator and they checked on if we needed anything a few times. Many little touches at this place and good value for the area. Thank you for the hospitality.

Perfect bass tournament lodging

Stayed here with 2 other guys for recent bass tournament. We brought 3 truck/boat rigs and never had to unhook. Plenty of parking, very close to Waddington ramps with gas station right around the corner. Gas station has everything you need including groceries and ethanol-free gas. 16 mins to Massena ramp if you need. Area was very safe and we never once worried about our gear or boat being broken into (like other places we've been). Greg is an awesome host and went over and above the typical host. He literally goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Impressive! House can get a little warm on those few, hot summer days but it does have an AC unit to help keep it comfortable. Again, Greg was a great communicator. Best host I've come across in all my years of tournament traveling. I will definitely be staying here again any time I come up this way. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Winter Retreat

We had a wonderful stay in this house by the river. My husband and I were looking for a spot for a winter retreat for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and relaxing, and this turned out to be a great choice. Greg and Karla were wonderful hosts. They were super-responsive and very generous with. They were always available to answer any questions we had or to make recommendations for local spots. We learned that Greg is a licensed guide, so he had all sorts of great suggestions for outdoors activities and locations. We understand from Greg that this is a great area for ice fishing and hunting. The house was exactly as described and was very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Greg and Karla really thought through everything needed for a hassle-free stay. The kitchen was well-organized and well-stocked. Having frequently stayed in vacation rentals over the years, we recognize that they clearly went above and beyond in anticipating our needs. We can’t say enough about how committed they were to making sure that our visit was as comfortable and pleasant as possible. It was a great place for a quiet getaway and natural retreat, and we are certainly looking forward to coming back soon!

Very comfortable and relaxing.

It was even better in person. The home was very comfortable. Loved the large fire pit. Greg was great and made sure we had anything we needed.

Private, Spacious, Friendly!

First of all - Greg and Karla are absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, kind and responsive. The house is loaded with everything you need, especially the kitchen. It makes it easier moving in for a week or so when the house has everything you need. Five star experience from beginning to end, from the welcome gift to communication to check out. Not to mention the property is beautiful. I enjoyed watching the deer roam in the driveway every morning. Bonus! Will be back! :)
