Adorable Midtown Condo

This adorable midtown condo is located on the second floor of a small complex called Kantoray and is walking distance to Whole Foods, coffee shops, restaurants, and the 3rd street bike route and Speedway bus line. Located just 2 miles from the main campus of the University of Arizona and 4 miles from downtown Tucson, this condo has views of the Catalina mountains from the bedrooms and views of the sunset from the shared front deck. The wonderful kitchen provides everything you would need to cook meals at home, a comfortable living room with Roku, a beautiful dining room, one Master Bedroom with a small full bathroom, and a 2nd bedroom with a detached bathroom. Both showers are newly refurbished and the living room and bedrooms have new carpet. The complex has a pool and a shared coin laundry facility, as well as on-site parking.

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very centrally located and although it is older, the property is well maintained. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Nice quiet stay, thoroughly enjoyable.

Excellent experience with property owner. Kitchen needs a few more things (good frying pan), and place is a little musty smelling so anyone with allergies will struggle. Good location, close to everything. Content with everything and neighbors were very friendly. Pool was cleaned every week but not heated.

Clean but outdated

The pictures made this property look better than it was. Many small items in need of repair, light fixtures, curtain rods. The showers are not for tall people. Clean property, good location. You get what you pay for.

Sweet Retreat

Natalie is gracious and helpful. She made accessing the apartment easy and provided information needed for the stay. The apartment is just as pictured and was just what we needed to visit our Airman son. It is in the city with city sounds and in Tucson with the Arizona sun. That being said it would have been super nice for the bedroom windows to have room darkening drapes to muffle the sounds and shut out the sun. A box fan for some white noise would also have been nice. The courtyard with its palm trees and flowering shrubs was wonderful and so pretty next to the pool. We were thrilled to be in the heat after a too long winter in Michigan. It would have so nice to have had an umbrella and functioning lounge chairs to really enjoy the pool area. With the large closets, there is storage for those items as I can appreciate not wanting to leave them for public use. Sharper knives or a knife sharpener would have been nice as slicing and dicing was challenging but it was wonderful to have a full size kitchen with most of what is needed to prepare meals. With the Whole Foods Store just around the corner, it was easy to buy food for meals. We even walked to grab a coffee at the Dutch Brothers. Overall, it was just what we needed. Thank you!!

Cute and Clean

Communication with the host was quick and thorough. The apartment itself was spotless and adorable: probably built mid-20th century. Even though clearly updated since then, a few original pieces remained, which lent character to the overall vibe. We liked the black tiled countertops and the oven door with its dials and light switch in the kitchen, plus the utility area’s built-in, fold-down ironing board. The main bathroom was my favorite because of the wall-mounted storage unit above the vanity which reminded me of the one in my childhood home, as well as the built-in bathroom scale, and the pinky-peach tiles in the shower. The colors of interior paint and accessories in both bathrooms felt fresh and bright. The main bathroom colors cleverly reflected those found in the rock facade at the entrance to the complex. In contrast to both the fresh and vintage features was the eclectic style of furnishings, best described as mixed-design, second-hand, functional. Kitchen cookware was limited, and very well-used. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Pillows were flat and dense. Plenty of linens and towels. Regarding the complex: the separate laundry facility was clean and contained one coin-op washing machine and dryer; the pool was also clean but unheated (refreshing!), and as one other reviewer mentioned, the chaise lounges were broken. We always found a parking spot right in front of the complex. We would stay here again.

Solid Stay

The apartment community has a quietly friendly vibe, and with Miramonte neighborhood's diverse, shabby-chic mid-century ambience, and Natalie's clean and just-comfortable-enough, spacious place our little crew had an enjoyable stay. I especially appreciated the newly reopened pool, and proximity of Whole Foods, and LOFT Cinema.

Family road trip

Nice location for exploring surrounding area. We did east and west saguaro national park, colossal caves, sabino canyon (don't miss if your in the area) and more. Natalie was very responsive to any questions that popped up during our stay. Carmen

Tucson stay

The property is as advertised. Yes, the place is old, but is well taken care of. The bedrooms are large and we thought very comfortable. Parking access to the location can be a little difficult with the car dealership across from the property.

Centrally located with everything you need!

I spent 6 weeks here to enjoy the Tucson area. This place had be close to EVERYTHING! Theater, hiking, museums, restaurants, groceries, downtown and the University. For the price…it absolutely can not be beat. It is starting to show its age a bit with wear and tear but is completely functional. The condo complex is super clean and the neighbors lovely!

Good location, close to UofAZ

The property is fine. It is older and for sure outdated. The pool is lacking an umbrella and any lounge chairs that aren't broken. Very unfortunate as it makes this area unusable in my opinion.

Great for 3-4 people

Large bedrooms, each with their own desk. Two bathrooms too! Comfortable living room and good size kitchen. Great space for a family of four with floor space for an extra kiddo. Location is convenient to everything you need. Super fast communication from the host too!

Roomy & Clean, enjoyed it

I spent a little more than a month as Natalie was very accomodating even though she had family coming in. The condo was all I could hope for and I of course only needed one of the 2 bedrooms as it was only me staying, and my cat. Thank you Natalie for your willingness to help make my say enjoyable and comfortable.

Nice condo with honest neighbors!

This condo was perfect for my teenager and I. It has remodeled kitchen and floors, a homey living room, comfortable dining room, and two bathrooms. The desks in each bedroom allowed us to set up our laptops and connect with the wifi. I dropped my car keys in the courtyard and a neighbor knocked on the door and returned them! Two machine Laundry room on premises (bring lots of quarters.) It was a shame COVID has the pool closed, but it was sparkly and bright. Only downside is it is right next to a car dealership and there was lots of coming and going in the shared alley.

Extremely resonable price for amazing condo

The property manger was very accommodating and went above and beyond expectations when we needed to exstend our stay and do a late checkout. The condo was beautiful and very clean it was above expectations. The price was very resonable especially considering how large and nice the condo is.i would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place at afforadable rate in wonderful location.manged by exceptional hosts. My personal appreciation and thanks goes out to them.for a great week at there location
